Akuma (and probably Sagat & Fei Long) aside, there's really no need to go nuts with the SFII characters all at once. We already have 11 of them (counting Akuma).

Yes, we will be with SF5 for a while, and I think the game is going to get better and better over time, like SF4. The inclusion of historic and iconic characters will be a given. I think Capcom will blow the roof off of Capcom Cup with the inclusion of EX characters.

I think the inclusion of their bios in CFN is the most telling. Whether that manifest itself into
something remains to be seen, but I remain hopeful.

Sagat, Sakura, Evil Ryu, Psycho Ken, Honda, Blanka, Boss characters like Shin Akuma or M.Bison from Alpha. Cody & Guy were pretty popular, lots of places they can go. And this is not to mention something big like a world tour mode or something

Anticipation doesn't do anyone any good if it doesn't translate into sales. You have to release an anticipated character to reap any benefit, so why would they wait? It sounds like you think once he's released people will stop playing the game rather than playing it more.
