Has it been posted, Trump Tower today is surrounded by a ring of dump trucks filled with sand? Trump is paranoid that someone's is going to bomb the building, so he's built a barricade around his tower lol

Trump Tower right now. All the trucks are filled to brim with sand to create barricade to prevent a bomb truck from reaching the building lol

That's to keep the minorities out, been doing that for 50 years.

Not to needlessly split hairs, but I do personally make a distinction between Republican voters who are voting Trump because they're always going to vote R and the basket of deplorables that are enthusiastically tweeting #MAGA and wearing those hideous baseball caps. That's not to say that I'm trying to give an out and say that it's OK to vote Trump. But if your pet issues are things like taxes, abortion, and gun rights it's hard for me to fathom that you'd vote Clinton over Trump even if you think Trump is a pretty lousy human being.

As a pretty liberal person myself, I will acknowledge that it would probably take both a fantastic Republican nominee and a lousy Democratic nominee for me to consider voting R in a national election just because it's hard for me to fathom the former's platforms aligning with my views more than the latter.

I live near Roanoke, VA, and just went to vote at 1:00...

Literally NO LINE. Seriously, I was only the 1,000th voter out of 20,000 it seems.

I wonder if that's good or bad for Hillary.

Near the Grandin and Brandon Ave areas, all I ever see are Trump signs. I dunno. It's quite depressing.

Also the good thing I have to say about voting to day is there was literally only one person ahead of me in line, and no one else was there voting except my mother and father. (both, for Hillary)

Wife votes Trump
I votes Hilary

Told my wife my vote. YUP! Not getting any lovin for a long time. There's a big turn out for voting for my area. As of this morning when I went it was close to being double of last election. I got there after a big group and as I was leaving a big group was coming in.

Insane..

What would Trump do?

Holy shit!
I can't quote everyone because there were too many responses but the HATE I just received for that post shows how hypocritical many people are. Don't like a candidate because he spews hate but then spew hate at anyone who even suggests that they might want him to win?

Are there any Trump supporters on GAF? Are they all mercilessly shut down and told that they are horrible people? This is a presidential candidate! A great man.

Where is the love and tolerance?

You wanted him to vote because of "fun", though.

@piersmorgan

Trump can still win this.
Many swing states way too close to call.
Clinton-ites seem weirdly cocky/complacent on here. #USElection2016

Sorry US Gaf :(

Because one is based on actual beliefs and actions (deplorable) while the other is based simply on a person's skin color. Saying that anybody who supports Trump is a deplorable piece of shit is not racist.
Yes it is, MANY people who voted Trump find him an offensive, awful man. They felt that they had no other choice because:

They see Hillary Clinton as the epitome of corrupt career politician.

They are ardently Pro-Life which makes any Democratic candidate an absolute non-starter.

They don't agree with more liberal economic policies.

There are many situations that could cause someone vote for Trump besides simply be racist. Are many of them racist? Yeah, but not the majority.

This is the correct answer, you can find voting for Trump to not be ok as a liberal, but you have to realize that many of his voters are holding their nose while filling in that bubble.

Technically, his vote does effect the margin by which Trump loses. It just doesn't effect the margin in which Clinton wins. Which, doesn't even matter in his state given it's heavy redness.

It's not selfish. It's a perfectly reasonable compromise.
It affects the national popular vote outcome, which is a reasonably proxy for margin of victory. The state by state math is too complex. A double digit victory signifies landslide.

And it really isn't reasonable at all. As others have said, he did it to make himself feel good. That's it. Absolutely pointless.

You too eh? I've been checking it all morning for amusement It's like they think they're in a separate reality over there where dumb shit that means nothing apparently has way more importance. It's both funny to laugh at the delusion of thinking getting a post number end in the same number twice means you candidate will win, but it's also very sad.

I also learned that there's apparently a frog god named Kek?

I mean, they're not being serious. They just think that shit's funny.

Oh no, guess it's over then. I'll call the local Election Office and tell not to bother counting because of what I overheard Piers Morgan said.

I mean, they're not being serious. They just think that shit's funny.
I have a hard time believing some of them don't when so many of them keep posting about it and they make huge threads for the sole purpose of getting repeating numbers and praising this random Frog guy.

I don't understand how people with opposite political views can get married. I'm biased since I'm a poli sci major but do you guys just not talk about politics with each other or

You have a massive amount of respect for each other and their views.

That being said the election would test that respect to the limit because being a Trump supporter is being an enabler for clearly wrong things.

I think a Republican would just vote for Hillary and still vote for Republicans for everything else. She isn't going to get anything done with an obstructionist Congress.

Well, right or wrong Votecastr has been updated to show all of the Swing States going blue, with Nevada the closest. If this site is correct then Florida is trending for Clinton to at least match, if not surpass Obama 2012's figures. If so, that's the White House secured pretty much as barring a complete collapse of the Rust Belt, Clinton will easily have the numbers.

It also shows Ohio just about staying blue, New Hampshire pretty strongly blue for a state Trump was desperate to win and Pennsylvania staying with the Democrats also.

Not counting chickens, and of course, lots of voting to go but looking good for anyone who isn't a Trump fan.

So you should be sorry. They got rid of Piers once already so you shouldn't force him back on them like that.

Electing a blatant racist into the highest office is being okay with racism. That's as bad as being a racist if not worse.

I mean yeah I get that but they should be smart enough to know that Clinton isn't planning to raise taxes on anyone making under 250k a year, Trump has flip-flopped on abortion, and Clinton has no intention of stripping gun rights. Ignorance is not an excuse in this case. Supporting Trump for their pet issues doesn't even make sense.

Who is that famous political couple that's on completely different sides? Is it James Carville and Mary Matalin I think? He is, well, he is who he is. Matalin is a Trump supporter.

Me and my wife voted for the same person, I can't imagine being that far off, haha.

Votecastr is garbage. Ignore it and wait for the official calls.

I still don't know how anyone gives Piers Morgan air to breathe, let along a presenting job on GMTV.

God bless you. I'd legitimately be filing divorce paperwork if I were in your shoes.

Your wife voted Trump...?

I'd have some questions on that one

I don't understand how people with opposite political views can get married. I'm biased since I'm a poli sci major but do you guys just not talk about politics with each other or

I'm a minority and she's white. She's a great person overall but she's definitely doesn't understand some of the things I've been threw and other minorities in general go threw.

We don't talk politics at all until this election. I told her of all the crap Trump has said and may have done and she blames Hilary for it. I shrug my shoulders and dropped it. She's pissed at me because I didn't follow her lead. I told her I'm a quiet person not a pussy whipped fool. Lol...

Yep, they've been making it work for over twenty years and they are both hardcore as fuck. Though I am pretty sure Matalin is not supporting Trump.
