It's not assuming that she won it's just that this isn't 5am in the year 2000 where it was all riding on Florida. Hillary can lose Florida and it doesn't end the game. Trump losing Florida makes his path to victory a pipe dream.

Nothing of note has happened. Florida is close, but the rest are all state results that anyone could have given you before. There really isn't any need to panic, we haven't even reached a "it's close" point. They haven't traded wins of battleground states or anything.

538 has said you might see some early pulls in some states then they get an upswing from the other direction depending on how the votes are counted. I'm sure a lot of smaller counties are done first because there is less to keep track of.
