CNN has stated that Hillary had made some big missteps. People were telling her to campaign more in certain counties but her campaign acted like it was a lock. They got to certain areas too late.

Forget whatever dumb things Trump does in foreign policies, but his inaction on climate change alone for 4 years will cost millions of lives across the planet down the line.
Of course not immediately, he will probably be long dead before people start dying as a consequence of his 4 year inaction on climate change, but still.

You can't demonize and shame people and expect they'll agree with you. They'll only dig their heels in further, especially if they feel attacked.

This is some real truth here, folks:
All the people who are very likely or even (ugh) probably going to put Donald fucking Trump in the White House tonight are not voting because they hate women or blacks or mexicans or whoever else. I'm also not saying that the hatred isn't a factor, because it's been shown repeatedly that at least on some level it's an animating force for all of this... but people are complex animals but you've turned them into cartoon villains and stereotypes without every trying to understand them or why they actually feel the way they do.

Polarization is bad. The right has been polarized for a long time, but now the left is too, and it's biting them back hard tonight. If Trump wins and has the House and Senate behind him, this is literally the end of America as we know it and the beginning of a new BRIC nation world alignment. That's really fucking bad.
