Fwiw So this is because the markets hate uncertainty. Good or bad = certain or uncertain not necessarily bull v bear. Clinton was so globally poll favored that this throws everything upside down. The default position in this case is a "risk off".

There is more to it, but basically the teveryone was very sure one thing was going to happen and the opposite thing overwhelmingly happened so.. yeah. Factor in that Trump is self proclaimed to not play the game and if you are big money in the market you have to remove a ton of potential risk until you recalculate. Safe havens are typically gold and the US dollar and the Swiss franc. Aka cash not equities. This isn't because he is bad/good it is because he is a curveball..once the market gets a feel for it we will get a better picture. My 2 cents. Also no it isn't.. normally you have two establishment aka known commodities that play ball and you have a good idea who is going to win beforehand,
