You're right, he can't do it alone. But Trump in a Republican controlled House, Senate, and able to chose a Supreme Court Justice? In this political climate?

I said this many times in election threads over the past six months. She was an AWFUL choice. And I was dogpiled time after time by HillaryGAF.

I didn't even vote for Trump and I'm in a solidly blue state. But I'm as cautiously optimistic as I can possibly be. Hillary is a corrupt snake, and the democrats screwed up royally.

I'm hoping Trump surrounds himself with a reasonable cabinet (read: No Christie, no Rudy, no Cruz). We'll see.

But to all you smug smarmy holier than thou pseudointellectual liberals: You did this to yourselves. Unilateral marginalization of 40% of the country (which not coincidentally is exactly what you accuse the other side of doing) wins you no friends, and probably cost you this election.

To make the most of this choice, I shall now look forward to the awesome comedy opportunities his speeches and appearances will generate. Making some lemonade out of this lemon. The comedy is guaranteed. I was never a fan of Hillary, but it was my only choice after the primaries was over. I think she did great in the debates.

I still can't believe Trump made it past the primaries, past the debates without out right dropping out due to reasons, and now as a winner. Insane. That White House Correspondence Dinner will be in the history books now. Thanks Obama.

Hopefully people in Mississippi don't get any ideas, well not just MS. I'll continue to keep my distance from my neighbors, and always try to look non threatening. The police may have a field day soon, Rudy will enjoy this. 4 years, I I'll survive, I hope everything goes well for progress in this country though. Some good things have been put in motion the last 8 years.

I'm starting to think that it didn't really matter WHO was going against him. Hillary, Bernie, other Republicans...the fix was in. The demographic that latched onto him didn't really give a damn about his opponents. They wanted what TRUMP stood for no matter what he did. And, that sounds like an UNbeatable candidate.

In case you haven't noticed, this wasn't an election governed by logic.

Even in this thread, we had people proudly talking down to people, saying they didn't know anything about politics and saying shit like "babbies first election."

Also fuck each and every person who kept saying "Trump has no chance, Hillary has this easily" and "it is going to be a landslide." Great job encouraging people to vote. -_-
