With the Boomer generation of FDR dems pretty much dead, these blue states filled with ignored union voters who typically always go Dem have revolted. Easy, just tell those people Obamacare was bad, and that the new health care plan is better. Just keep saying it again and again, and it becomes true. If someone suffers, they would have suffered worse under Obamacare. If someone says Obamacare was better for them, Obamacare was unsustainable and they would have suffered more in the long run.

Due to the way congressional districts are set up, it will take an absolutely massive groundswell in a part of the cycle where Democrats rarely turn out in large numbers, so it's very unlikely. They may have a chance at the Senate, but I haven't even looked at which seats will be up for re-election then.

He'd have to do something to really rile up a huge portion of the electorate for him to lose the house in 2018.

And that's not even considering the likelihood of voter disenfranchisement laws to be passed in the interim. It will be a huge uphill battle.
