Why did Obama do so well and Hillary did so terribly? She was even going up against a complete clown.
At least you'll get it all out of your system for the next time the election rolls around.
If another election rolls around.
I feel better already.Congrats, Trump is going to "destroy the Republican establishment" by letting Mike Pence, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich and Rudy Guiliani run the show and hold positions of power within the government. What an outsider. Mission accomplished. Totally legit and rational reason to support a bigot.
My condolences America, but this is Democracy, you get what you deserve!
Trump supporters can't ask for unity when Trump's major platform was built on isolation and othering.
So this is much more about Clinton sucking it up than Trump doing well.
In a democracy, people are allowed to make mistakes (if electing Donald Trump should sometime in the future prove to be a mistake).
Many (most?) people suffered in the last eight years. The rich got richer, the poor got poorer. Under Hillary Clinton these trends would have continued (maybe accelerated). With Donald Trump people at least can hope.
I understand why the American people elected President Trump.
Half of us might not fight back, I won't.Hahahahahaha oh well off to join the military nice being allies with you america i'll be ready when war erupts between us.
No reaction from Germany yet?
Seems they are still shocked.
.
When you elect President George W. Bush and don't learn from it.... This is what we get.
You do not really compare Trump to Hitler?

I'm not really a big political guy, I'll say flat out that I'm really not that educated on the detailed elements of Trump's plan.
One of my biggest issues as an American in my life has been healthcare. I have a chronic disease that can creep up at any time and hurt my ability to work and I've always fallen in a niche group that gets rejected for healthcare discounts and such and have always struggled to find affordable healthcare for the times where I'm out of work.
Not sure how Trump will affect people in my position either way. I do know Obamacare's "no rejections for pre-existing conditions" benefitted me greatly for a time... until the premiums got way too expensive. It was either high monthly premium or lower premium but large deductible.
Anyone educated on what Trump will bring in this regard or people like me?
As it stands now, by the combined vote totals for the main 2 parties, Over 11 million people less voted for the 2 parties, and 75% of those lost votes were on the democratic side.
Obama 12: 65.9 Million
Clinton 16: 57.6 Million
Romney 12: 60.9 Million
Drumpf 16: 58.1 Million
Now I know Cali will tighten up those numbers, but not nearly enough.
Further proving my point. Sorry I said something you disagree with. I know what'll fix it! Call for a ban! Surely these forums aren't for discourse. I prefer my chambers much more echoey.do these people really exist?
I'm not going to humor anyone kicking "both sides" and frankly I think it should be banworthy
As a bernie guy kinda. No doubt in my mind Bernie would trounce donaldIt's also going to send the Bernie supporters over the edge furious.
You are not the greatest poster in NeoGAF and never have been. Kidding aside, the Constitution was an incredible achievement, and don't forget our involvement in WWII, that we put the first man on the moon, our medical and scientific advancements, etc. What country would you put as tops? The word, "great", is a pretty subjective world, I realize, but I gotta know what ground you're standing on here.
Oh the humble pie that is about to be swallowed by politicians around the world... Hollande said Trump made him sock.... British MP's tried to ban him from coming to the UK
you watch them all know.....complete 360 about to be done live

I don't know what country is the world's greatest, but I will tell you this: the idea that a country is superior to another, the idea that nation states should have dick contests according to their arsenal / sporting prowess / global influence only helps foster ethnocentrism in the minds of people. That one's country is already good and it doesn't need to learn from others or interact with others to improve itself. That it has already made it and therefore it has a moral obligation to teach lesser countries how to behave like it.You are not the greatest poster in NeoGAF and never have been. What does that even mean? What do you expect is going to happen here with someone who doesn't know anything about politics?I agree.
I'm going to admit right now that I have been a Trump supporter for over a year. But I didn't talk about it because I felt I'd be tarred and feathered over it. I saw the binary nature of us versus them on both sides and said 'I'm playing this close to the chest.' As for why I supported him, I wanted Trump to either destroy the Republican establishment because I was fed up with their lukewarm shit or change the world. And honestly? He got both and I'm ecstatic over it. For better or worse, I will own it. I understand all of the shit he said/did rubbed people the wrong way, and he definitely went overboard a few times. But I just wanted something different than DC insiders. Bernie, for all of the outsider talk, isn't an outsider. The dude looked like his soul was destroyed after endorsing Hillary, and his supporters felt cheated, and got validated from it via WikiLeaks. But honestly, that was a debate that I think would've been enlightening to everyone. But since it didn't (and probably won't due to Bernie's age) happen, we have to think about where we go from here.

It's all doublespeak right?
We have the AFD sitting in every state parliament which had an election in 2016. They even sometimes have more delegates then the SPD or CDU (the two 'huge' German parties) there.
So what's there to say. The same shit could happen to us in late 2017.
I just wanted something different than DC insiders.
if you are going to pick one of the most odious woman out there to run for president, you can not be blamed when people say 'nope'
