Man it's still not quite sinking in. How can this be happening.
He never actually said that.
His "I could stand in the middle of the street and shoot somebody" remarks makes me think he's thought about it.

I wish people would stop fucking posting this. Do the most basic bit of research. The things Donald Trump actually does say are unconditionally worse.
oh yeah totallyFrom what I can tell in Germany most scientists seem to assume we're past the point of no return anyway, if that makes you feel any better.
Someone please tell me it's going to be okay. Please.
It's so hard to tell with the outlandish stuff he's already said.
I don't understand how anyone who aligns themselves with the values of what the Democratic party claims to stand for can sit back and just throw so many groups under the bus just because they don't think Clinton was an optimal candidate.
Actually, I take it back, I understand it perfectly. I just can't reconcile the reality of it. It's an uncomfortably common sentiment I've seen expressed, and it just blows my fucking brains to the wall.

What the hell is wrong with you 😡Get the fuck out with that fascist attitude, 29% of latinos voted for Trump, 8% of african americans voted for Trump, they are racist too?
You're an ignorant, brainwashed idiot if you really believe in that stupid reductionism Trump supporter= racist or misogynist
I mean, it can't be bad. Either he does a good job or we revel in the misery of his supporters.
How exactly does she win over those white, rural voters that went big for Trump? What's your strategy here? also remember you're up against wikileaks/russia as well.

8 years of Dubya Bush was pretty bad. Hope we can make it through. We've survived worse.
What type of planet is this?
Even if the quote is fake, its content is 100% true as proven by this election.Nevermind fake apparently.
Of course it does. Everything has repercussions everywhere, that's globalization.
I begrudgingly voted Trump. If the Dems had given me a candidate I could have gotten behind I would have voted Dem. People loved jumping on me for my choice and calling me all kinds of names. Feeling a bit justified now. Still, really shitty that these were our choices.

Voting should be mandatory in the US.
What type of planet is this?
There's a vast difference between don't thinking Clinton was an optimal candidate and thinking Trump was.
which is who?She could probably never win with them, but she was unable to energize the people who could have easily handed this election to her.
Or when they literally had Trump show up for an entire episode.I don't think SNL expected Trump to win when they asked Alec Baldwin to be Trump at the start of the season.
Tell that to the single parent who can only find part time jobs thanks to the ACA fucking it up for everyone.
Believing every Trump supporter is a racist is one of the reasons why they fucking won.
People had problems and like fucking clockwork were swept under the bus by the left.
Good job, guy. Real nice. Thanks for steeling people who could have been on our side had we a shred of understanding it's not just about racism or xenophobia.
Get the fuck out of that echo chamber, guy.
I suggest we rename Earth to Hell.
Even if we are, we shouldn't speed it up. The human race will kill itself and I don't want to see it in my lifetime. From what I can tell in Germany most scientists seem to assume we're past the point of no return anyway, if that makes you feel any better.
Agreed.Saddest thing for me is that the world can't afford 4-8 years of a president that doesn't believe global warming is real. It could be the nail in the coffin when it comes to hope of reducing CO2 emissions enough to limit warming to below 2C. It was a slim hope even with reasonable people like Obama/Clinton in charge.
Who has been emboldening racists and taking advantage of people whose jobs are never coming back.
It's difficult to defeat your opponent when they don't have to bother telling the truth. I genuinely don't even know if Bernie would've done any better. Maybe among whites but he had even lower enthusiasm from minorities.
Don't insult them. Don't talk down to them like they're stupid and wrong about everything. Be a likable person. How exactly does she win over those white, rural voters that went big for Trump? What's your strategy here? also remember you're up against wikileaks/russia as well.
which is who?
she is probably going to win the popular vote, and she lost white people in swing states. that's all there is to it.
there were a higher propensity of minorities for trump than expected but she still needed at least SOME white people
I'm pretty sure she got very big turnout in some of those swing states, like Florida, it's just the massive turnout of rural whites was devastating.
She could probably never win with them, but she was unable to energize the people who could have easily handed this election to her.
It's the kind of move that shows you the disconnect between people's stated and actual values. A person who genuinely cares about the consequences of conservative action wouldn't be so fickle with their vote.I don't understand how anyone who aligns themselves with the values of what the Democratic party claims to stand for can sit back and just throw so many groups under the bus just because they don't think Clinton was an optimal candidate.

I suggest we rename Earth to Hell.
He had a narrow path and needed to win NC, Ohio, and Florida just to give him a shot of flipping a usual blue state for the Electoral College Win. What the Fuck.
Also, isn't Ohio supposed to be close? He won it rather easily.
And Greece tobama helped a lot Greece last year when it was half a step away from Grexit.
Btw it started
'Not Our President': Protests Erupt in the Bay Area After Trump's Stunning Presidential Victory
Actual Hell is looking cozier and more invitingI suggest we rename Earth to Hell.
Doom: Hell on Earth, we're it.What are we going to do once we see human remnants on Mars?
I think the major problem was that she didn't really stand for anything, just more of the same. Trump was spouting all these crazy ideas, whereas Clinton coasted on kind of being the assumed winner. Now the assumption was of course based on that she was by far the most qualified candidate, but most people don't vote rationally, they vote a narrative. And Hillary didn't really have one. This is something most centrists across the west are struggling with, they think they can sway people with rational remarks, or they try the same fear mongering but are not as convincing in it as the demagogue experts. The deplorables quote of course in hindsight sealed the deal, who are these deplorable people that don't obviously vote for me? Even though she didn't have a narrative why people should actually vote for her. Except for her being a woman, which is an idea that everyone to the right of central left gets increasingly annoyed by.You know how Drumpf won?
Hillary's deplorables comment. She poked the sleeping rurals and they all went cyber on her, themselves and everyone.
Don't insult them. Don't talk down to them like they're stupid and wrong about everything. Be a likable person.
Would it be enough? I don't know, I'm not a politician. Obama somehow managed to convince enough of them
But who was treating whom as less than human?
The anti-Hillary folk weren't being assholes, but the Pro Hillary group were being COMPLETE assholes to those for somply not sharing the same opinion. Sorry, that's not on.
I'm sorry, but what makes you think they're the ones being looked down upon? They're not victims here.
