Get the fuck out with that fascist attitude, 29% of latinos voted for Trump, 8% of african americans voted for Trump, they are racist too?

You're an ignorant, brainwashed idiot if you really believe in that stupid reductionism Trump supporter= racist or misogynist

Sometimes the more racist people are the one than see like shit their brothers because of they want to fell superior in one way or a other. Sadly the Latinos have a Inferiority complex than make them ridiculus racist to others Latinos.

The sons of USA Latinos are full of theyself and dont want to know abaut ther father's homeland, they are new nationalized latinos than think like the white idiots "i made it here and dont see the american dream, i can not let "the indinas peeople" reach it and i will have lest oportunity, im now a true american!"

Why i know this, im a Latino and if history teach than we Latino always make shit to other Latinos. And i fell shame for the idiots than are in my race.

USA you are fuck up in your ideals, a Idiot come and used agaist you. Put your shit together USA the world is in shock right now!! Im worry for my family there now.

In case you're thinking all of this is kinda ok, just a reminder:

Trump and Pence will get access to critical classified intel in the near future.

No, this is really worrying. Now there's really no denying that being a bully, a sexual predator, a flimflam artist, and an uninformed fool can launch a person to the absolute pinnacle of material and political success.

Trump's win serves to validate and encourage every jerk, bigot, bully, conspiracy theorist, and know-nothing.

Do whatever the fuck you want without regard for anyone, kids! Be as brash and dumb and ugly and cruel as you wish. The world is your oyster.

This to me, is the most crushing message of this election result.

Here to eat crow I guess. I was wrong, I freely admit it. Still, it's not as if I didn't have evidence to back up my wrong beleifs. Polls, betting sites, moeels, etc, etc all pointed to a Clinton win. Problem was, all of them were all doing wrong voter screenings, which mucked the process up.

Funny, people say Hillary is unpopular, but she was easily more popular than Trump, by a good margin. People said she was a bad canddate, but that's not true. She was a fine candidate as evidenced by her debate performances and campaign. The problem is America would rather choose a racist over a woman.

People are going to look back and wonder just how much racist, white nationalist, compulsive liar, sexual assaulter, and possibly rapist candidate won against someone with an overblown email scanal. The mind boggles.

The one good thing that can come of this shitshow is if things get so bad, and they will get worse for a lot of Americans, thst people actually decide enough is enough and get off their lazy asses to vote. I've never been a fan of accelerationism, but if were already on the wave, we may as well ride them.

I'm white and straight, I'll be ok. It's my friends that are of color, or hispanic, or gay that are in deep shit. To them, I'm sorry. Not just sorry for what the country showed you tonight, but that I didn't do more to stop it. Everyone in America has some blame to bear here, differing ammounts sure. However, while I voted for Clinton, no doubt I could have done more.

Taxes will go down a bit, debt will continue to grow, it's going to be the same bullshit with a different face. I know it's hard to believe if you supported Clinton, but not much is going to change aside from maybe healthcare and a bit of foreign policy.

More of the same, mark my words!

No.

I voted for Clinton and think Trump is a disaster. But I wanna win elections and the Democrats played themselves.

We can't criticize a campaign strategy now? I want Democrats to win and I hope this is a wake up call.

Trump's win lies at the feet of those who voted for him. They wanted easy answers and scapegoats.

People ignoring that to shit on us for not tolerating bigotry as a political platform are not looking at this country for what it is.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that America elected a orange, racist, misogynistic, reality TV "star" with NO POLITICAL EXPERIENCE whatsoever to become their president.
His entire appeal with the saps who voted for him.
anyone else compiling a soundtrack?

The Doors - Riders On The Storm
The Beatles - Yesterday
Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
The Cranberries - Linger
Genesis - Land of Confusion
Peter Gabriel - Games Without Frontiers

Who else is hoping for one last pivot?

It shouldn't be your only concern. Social issues will be rolled back up to 70 years. Potential economic collapse is on the horizon if Trump tries to vastly increase tariffs on international goods in an attempt to "bring back jobs" that don't exist. A potential conflict in Europe over us pulling out of NATO.

All of those problems can be fixed. You can't fix climate change by ignoring it and pretending it doesn't exist.

California once elected the Terminator. This is the country we live in.

My candidate for president brings former KKK leaders out of the woodworks and makes them feel confident enough to get into politics.

Not to mention legitimising neo-nazi groups all over.

BUT THIS ISN'T ABOUT RACISM! Supporting trump doesn't mean I support racism!

Increased public racism is just a coincidental circumstance of this election. Trump and my vote for him has nothing to do with it!!!!

Lol the person you voted for is a racist.
You voted for a racist.
You may not be racist yourself.... but at the very least you're being tolerant of racism.

The Supreme Court is the real worry. We will potentially lose it for decades.

It was the last desperate gasp of air from an old, bitter, hateful group of old white racist fuckers. They all came out to vote while it seems almost everyone from my generation(I'm 32) didn't. They either didn't care or assumed there was no way Trump would win and look at what happened.

My brother didn't vote and he's not the least bit worried about anything. He makes his $100,000 a year and all he cares about is making more. I honestly don't understand my generation and am really scared for the up and coming generations who are learning from us. He just had a kid too, while I can't even think about bringing a child into this world.

It's really nice to be a straight white person and think this. Have you paid any attention at all to this election, the party platform, or the actions and words of the trump campaign and his surrogates?

And healthcare isn't minor! Numerous gaffers will suffer hugely because of this.

I won't blame Obama if he just says "fuck it" today and starts packing his stuff up. The dude tried for 8 years, and this is what he ends up with. A country that votes in a candidate supported by white supremacy groups.

Wait, has a president ever gone back to congress? That would be dope, but can he even...?

If I understand it right... Trump, as a Republican candidate, won the presidential election; the Republicans gained control of both Senate and House; they won 6 of 12 states open for election this time and if they play the card right we are going to have a conservative Associate Justice in the Supreme Court, which will change the balance for the next 4-8 years. What a great time to be alive.

I'd be totally ok with any non politician as president, but it's Donald Trump so...

Hillary and the dems don't even have the nerve to give a speech to their people. Fuck that party, too.

I don't disagree with you here, but I'm also about being pragmatic.

Why couldn't Clinton win Obama's voters? If she did she would've won.

Racism exists, no doubt about it. Trump pandered to them.

However, what happened to those white blue collar men and college educated white women that went to Trump this around? They voted for Obama last time around, not a white woman, yet the overly simple analysis that these people are racist is a post election narrative on the Left.

Haha. Optimistic are we?

I'm genuinely interested in if you think the LBGTQ community, minorities, and women will lose certain human rights. Stop and frisk.Abortion. Gay marriage. Affirmative Action. Is any of this a concern or do you feel comfortable with a red Congress and President that nothing will happen?

That's sounds awfully nice.
What is Trump's specific tax and healthcare solution for single parent families. Feel free to link it!
I dont know. I didn't support him.

I basically said blanket statements about his supporters and people who feel they are worse off thanks to big government are what steeled them towards Trump.

Don't go looking to eat your own when I warned you all months ago to take this shit seriously but was quickly shouted down as a loon because "lol Hillary has this lol"

A lot more was going on besides racism and xenophobia but the left had its head so far up its own ass they didn't see this coming.

This isn't a win BY the right, it's a loss FROM the left. The more people understand this the better off we will do in 2020.

The first time in years were I'm grateful to be in the UK. The 2015 general election and brexit were bad but this is beyond that. All of the work Obama has done looks to be for nothing.

I don't know if someone posted this one already:

what the map would look like if only Millennials voted

spoken like a white dude who will never bear the brunt of the effects of this election

what the map would look like if only Millennials voted

apparently white millennials favored trump. that map almost certainly suffers from the same polling errors as the ones we were all using to assume hillary had this in the bag

This is best case scenario.

There's also a chance that shit will hit the fan in a big way, particularly if Trump gets his way. What this is really going to test, is how much power a president actually has to enact real change. I'm guessing, not much.

The real damage comes from the "deplorables" a result like this enables.

The Supreme Court is the real worry. We will potentially lose it for decades.

The Democrats never really "had it" though when Obama was in office.

If you heed the words of politicians, you're going to be disappointed no matter what the result is.

To all the Trump supporters here, good job, it's entirely possible that being gay might become illegal, again. I hope you're happy with your suppression.
