Following Sarah in the aftermath of this election has been the most horrifying part of this. I want to believe that it's not that bad, and that the people will fight back if Trump truly takes us down the road of fascism. Or that saner heads in the GOP will prevail and we'll just have to deal with the mundane terrible governing of the Dubya years, rather than the flat-out dangerous picture she paints of what could come next.

I actually believe Trump will accelerate America to a single payer healthcare and universal basic income system.

It will be through his failures that Republicans will hopefully see the con at work, and Democrats will use this loss to really move truly left. Trump's jobs plan promises that a finger has to be pointed to why it will fail. That answer is technology.

His bombing of this society will be its rebirth. He is prone to fail the right by not improving their lives.
