President-Elect Trump responds to protestors, via Twitter.

Hypothetical question:

My Facebook feed (southeastern Georgian here) is full of people mocking the protestors as people who don't work, children who were given participation trophies for losing all their life, and much worse vitriol.

If Trump had lost, weren't we expecting people to "take up arms" and "take back the country"?

I have a hard time believing Trump supporters would condemn armed people causing public disturbances, or worse.

Maryland, which already went Clinton, of course, has officially stated it is giving its points to her.

Democrats in Pennsylvania and Michigan and North Carolina need to rise up and push for their Electorates to do their jobs.

Will it likely happen, no. But there's nothing to lose from trying.
Even if that happens and they switch(it won't) Trump still wins 270-268

Also Michigan is completely controlled by Republicans now.

I think we've already covered how Trump supporters reacted to Obama's victory, and it was the same thing except super racist.

Yeah I really dont think Pence will be the real president like some people here think. He's donald fucking trump. He's gonna do what he wants and no one will convince him otherwise. If he wants to tweet stupid stuff, he'll do it.

Trump is lazy, even when he was talking to Obama, he was surprised by how long the meeting was. I absolutely think Pence is gonna be giving orders, and that thought terrifies me.

oh man, one of the best moments in my late high school life, TOTALLY forgot about this.

bless you sah [or maam].

Not necessarily respect, because why would you want to respect a racist narrow-minded bigot, but yes, all Americans should recognize him as president. Especially if the CNN projection turns out to be correct and he'll end up with more popular votes than Hillary.

A president isn't protected against criticism, so I'm all for protests whenever he says something stupid. But for better or worse, he's a democratically elected soon to be president.

He.will.never be president.

Guy is like full on theocrat, no? That's the last kind of person who should be calling shots anywhere.

He has voted for pretty much every free trade agreement placed in front of him, and actually had a few proposals backed by state Democrats get blocked by Repulicans. He also stated humans are a big factor in climate change. Also rightfully called any type ban on Muslims entering the country as unconstitutional.

His views on the LGBTQ community are terrible however. Thankfully I think current sentiment and Trumps lack of interest in pursuing negative ideas along those lines will serve to blunt any craziness he tries to push forward there.
