Had this image pop up on my Facebook. Replied with the tweet of Trump calling for protests 4 years ago, and with images and tweets of what's already going on in this country. Just got essentially "blacks are doing it too" and a link to the video that has been posted here. Said the difference is, Obama has condemned actions like these. Trump calls for unity, but his unity is allowing the white discriminorty hatred to flow while he tells minorities to sit down, shut up, and like it.
Go out and talk to the people who are angry and are protesting. I know the idea of actually talking to and understanding their anger and fear is frightening but please try and think about it.
Yep. That's exactly what I thought too. I gave him another chance even though he doesn't deserve anything and it's already trashed. I knew it would be this way, but I hoped it wouldn't.
I hope you're right. The other possibility is he continues blaming minorities and we get fucked even harder.

That's what changed my political outlook. Well, not actually being there physically, but the livestreams of the Ferguson protests and hearing their worries and anger and then seeing how Fox and co would portray it the next day. My dad's a pretty hardcore conservative, so him and his ideals was the main perspective I had before then.

He can't deal w/ protests from his own constituency? How's he going to get anything accomplished as president? He's going to be on twitter every other minute, furious at SNL, Colbert, Fallon, The Onion, HuffPo, and any other outlet that takes jabs at him in an way. Until he legislates them out of existence. (Of course, he'll be too busy throwing tantrums to do so, so hey, that's a plus.)
