We need to TEMPORARILY suspend freedom of the press. Just until this election business calms down. Maybe free speech too. The only people who will be affected are media elites and professional protesters.

I'm just going to build my own fantasy that he REALLY doesn't want to be president and he's going to sabotage himself somehow before January. I was skeptical, but it kind of does make sense. He doesn't get to live in luxury anymore. He has to report to work 24/7 and actually have responsibility. To Trump, this must be hell. Maybe he's trying to stoke the flames to have any chance of getting out while he can.

Yes but his cabinet he looks to assemble is very scary. That's the problem. Trump is stupid at the moment and has no idea what to do. If he got more moderate people to surround himself with then maybe it wouldn't be that horrible. But the only people who supported Trump during this whole campaign are a bunch of alt-right people so he is rewarding them with powerful positions and will go after anyone who slighted him.
And if by some chance he decides to quit or leave we are stuck with Mike Pence which is even worst because with Trump at least he could maybe clash with the senate and house being such a wildcard. But Pence would probably have the backing of all the republicans.
