I find it pretty bizzare that people make out Mercy (Age 37) to be some kind of inappropriate predator when she was 5 years older than Pharah (age 32) at best. Mercy also wasn't with Overwatch when Pharah was hanging out with them as a kid as far as we know.

Meanwhile, Soldier 76 has been a vigilante for 5 years, been with overwatch for 30. If they made him a member of overwatch straight out of bootcamp at age 18, he'd be 53 in present day, though it's far more likely he's older than that.

Mercy is a predator for having the hots for someone 5 years her junior, but Soldier 76 could easily be her father's age, and no one questions the "Dad 76" meme that defaults mercy as his wife?

I actually think, compared to a lot of art for other fandoms, there's a pretty decent balance between the "pervy" stuff and the "normal" stuff. So often when games have notable female characters most of their art is strictly porn-slanted.

I think it's that both have a love for tech and seem more youthful.
