Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

Don't talk shit about the best starter. You know better.

I've used Decidueye and I can say that I kinda regret it. I ended up using more Arcanine and Metagross, there are too many dark / ghost type moves that wreck him, especially in the physical side.

Tonight for my Sun playthrough I'm getting Litten for a change (four gens without picking the Fire starter).

Can you elaborate?

Litten's moveset is worrying but I like the look of the final evo. I love the owl's first evo but not a huge fan of his final, though the moveset looks awesome. And that water one...well, let's just say I wish it didn't exist.

Nvm you did :) Def still gonna use him

The time has passed yet it's not playable. Lame

Too many dark physical moves (crunch, knock off, assurance, among others) during the main quest plus his terrible defense.

He is good, he's not "bad". But he needs a good core, and I couldn't find one because I was playing completely blind.

I heard from a guy who played the leaked game that Pokemon Moon's time shift isn't there from the beginning of the game, and that it might only be for a short time during the plot like the frozen Unova in Black 2/White 2. For anyone who's actually played it, does the time shift start from the beginning?

Always in effect except during certain segments/cutscenes that are set to take place during a certain time of day.

Also
post-game you'll have the option to go from 12-hour shifted time to regular time.

What is objectively the best starter gameplay wise? And what's the worst? Want to see how it mixes with my aesthetic taste.

Not sure how you'd determine this? Competitive use? Main game? And if the latter, how would people have any idea? I'd say Incineroar is probably the least competitive though

I would say Primarina / Popplio will have an easier path if you're one of those that tend to stick with your starter. Water / Fairy + good Sp. Attack and Sp. Defense is just too OP.

*Main story only.

If you're using external rules (no items, level cap, etc) then you might have a problem because it won't have a recovery move like Decidueye (Roost) or Incineroar (Leech Life)
