I can see it being more successful then strwet fighter v honestly if they just advertise it as much as the Netflix shows. Put banners everywhere and give it a good budget for commercials.

Yeah, it's a hype fighting game for streams but the community around is the polar opposite of esports. I can't imagine the weird corporate game show esports feel mixing well with Marvel but if it supported the game I'd be all for it..

You do realize that Captain Marvel's getting a movie in 2019, right? Hell, they already casted Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Also, Punisher is in the MCU thanks to the Netflix shows (he was in Daredevil Season 2 & is getting a spin-off show).

Captain Marvel is going to be their next "big" character in the MCU (already casted and everything) and Punisher was a fan favorite from Netflix Daredevil and getting his own series now.

We're on the cusp of a relaunch for both the X-Men & the Inhumans in the comics after the Inhumans vs. X-Men event, so there's some reason to be hopeful for the video game side of things.

Captain Marvel is one of the upcoming movies, and is currently one of Marvel comics' mainliners. You bet your ass she'll be in.

Also, it won't be 100% MCU. You can likely expect it to be a balance between popular A-listers like Spider-Man, Hulk etc., MCU and whatever Marvel wants to push in comic books. That's why MvC3 had MODOK, X-23 and other such characters, as that game was the first one in which Marvel actually was calling the shots in regards who was going to be in the game.
In the current case, I'd say Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel certainly has very good cards to be in. Same with Miles Morales.
