Really, doesn't matter to me. Releasing premium content not covered by a Season Pass while Season Pass owners are still waiting for all their content to even come out just strikes me as a very poor, greedy, and unfriendly move.

... The fact the costumes are so exorbitantly expensive doesn't help. They charge for them like they're actual characters and not a single, solitary cosmetic for one character.

It's not really a SFV thing. Overwatch does the same thing. It seems around 4-5 characters will get costumes whenever a new special event happens.

But for real, this Chun-Li costume shows exactly why her model just looks so bad with anything but her default. The thighs being big is bad enough (but understandable given how exaggerated everyone's features are) but then you see her foot doing this when they just slap on a regular shoe texture and it just looks terrible.

DOA did indeed have this same problem, where ankles would bend in really weird ways. IIRC it's been sort of fixed in DOA5.
