BB isnt a Souls game. Also one of their new IPs is more Souls.

Well after making Bloodborne they should be done with Souls games. Superior series
A Pro patch would be nice but even FS on a Pro probably can't do a stable frame rate.
I'd like Square to announce a FF8 PC port for PS4. Probably won't ever happen though or not until FF7 remake is done.
I'd die and then shit a brick sideways for BB2 or even a pro patch. I'll be working tomorrow during the show, FML.

But on a more serious note, I don't find most indies and smaller PSN download only titles particularly "big" for a presentation. Especially not after Shawn tried to get everyone excited. Well, I guess the only exception would be Life Is Strange 2. That's one indie title I would lose my mind over.

Sorry but PSX is for those smaller games.
Also, I'm not sure why everyone is so hyped for a Bloodborne Pro patch. The fact of the matter is, even if the game is 60FPS, if From can't sort out their frame pacing issues, it will still be a juddery mess. In addition, their engine is horribly optimized as when there is heavy alpha effects, the frame rate will tank. Just look at Ludwig's second phase, his straight beam crashes the frame rate to below 15.
That's cool. But I think Shawn saying what he did was a huge mistake, that's all.
When you start with FFVIIR gameplay and then say something to the effect of "that's just the beginning!" then you better have an insane lineup. Ace Combat 7, Ni No Kuni 2, and Paragon were cool but he really shouldn't have said that. I (and a lot of other people) were expecting a God of War reveal.

A pro patch for Bloodborne, while exciting, isn't worth making a big PSX announcement. Now I would imagine they'd announce Bloodborne 2 or Demons Souls Remastered and tack on "and in addition to this new/old game, were happy to announce that the original Bloodborne will receive a Pro Patch later tonight!"
Many people think those games are better then GOW.
Be that as it may, he shouldn't have said that. That's a surefire way to set a large portion of the audience up for disappointment, because everyone's going to expect something that fits with their own definition of "huge."

to be fair a large amount of people had off the walls expectations before the show last year as well.
That's a given for a conference like PSX. He fed into the hype by saying that.
Do you remember predictions last year. They were completely crazy and the only reason why they were crazy was because of that E3 last year. And no one should have expected another conference like that in the same year. Everyone should have used PSX of that previous year has a guide.
I agree it was stupid for his to say that but I don't think it ruins any of the great content they had like people like to claim.

I agree with you.
Take TGA for example, Geoff after Death Stranding said "I don't know how we can top that but we have good stuff coming." If Geoff said , "that's just the beginning!" I would have been expecting different as well.

Personally I think close to 2 hours is too damn long. I know PSX is supposed to be a more intimate event, but still. Get rid of the bloat. Expect MVC4, and TLOU 2 tease and updates on games we already know about. Plus closer looks at Japanese titles.
