it was clearly inspired by Mega Man Legends, which in itself has metroid elements.
they did shift the focus hard towards platforming tho. while MM Legends was mainly combat and exploration
The studio's last game is one of my favorite titles ever, I think I'm on the position to comment on my personal dislike over the look of their lastest project. So please, stop policing the thread.
Looks pretty sweet to me, and an element of inbetween semi open world segments is a (neat) new addition, I thought that's what folks wanted, to see new stuff cos previously it looked like more Prime, now adding more stuff is bad too. Obviously it's not like BOTW which ditched giant dungeons/temples for much of the game as previous footage didn't look like it had this sort of thing at all and was, again, just more Prime really. This footage shows you reaching normal Prime areas too
