Ohh, guess everyone is just kinda jumping in on the last page.

Of course its by no means confirmation.

It's there own thing, they aren't forced by anyone to cut it short, so who knows.

Yo is this for real? The conference this year is only 1 hour?

Yep but honestly the nearly 2 hours last year was kinda pushing it - and I was in attendance. There were some bits that lasted longer than I'd have liked while there wasn't much shown of stuff I wanted to see more of.

Let's not forget that the E3 conference this year was only 1hr 18 min

So I expect less talk and more game showing

I could see it working well if they use a similar format as E3 where it's just non stop show.

If it's a similar format as the last 2 PSX probably time to make sure everyone has their expectations fully in check

1 hour is fine as long as there's no system talk and what not but I expect that as far as PSN Updates, PS4 Pro updates etc.

NerdLeaks have resurfaced again on Twitter but they only posted the Don Miami Vice gif so take that as you will.

I think some are forgetting about some of what happened at PSX 2015 when complaining about the potential length of this show. It was a show that lasted around 1:45. Nearly 15m of the show was taken up by third party relations talk and Randy Pitchford talking about/showing Battleborn. Nearly 5m was taken up by Richard Marks doing a PSVR tech demo. There was also a bunch of random talk throughout it that could've been cut and had the show closer to the 1 hour mark. Like the sitdown between Sid and Nick or the chat between Adam and Asad.

Alright, true enough.

The reason I have an issue with it, is that I think there is going to be a lot of that stuff still, just with a 1 hour total now. PSX has more of that laid back feel than say an E3 so I'm still expecting quite a bit of rando dude's walking on stage and talking to happen.

Hope I'm super wrong and we see a repeat of E3 2016, I just think its unlikely

Well, if Sony cuts out all the bloat and make the show's pacing like this year's E3, I'll be more than satisfied with a little over an hour. Hell, the show will be 2 a.m. in Malaysia, so the sooner it ends, the more sleep I get, haha. But I do want those killer megatons.

Many felt their E3 showing was a response to a general criticism of all of Sony's conferences. They tend to always have a lot of good content. But for whatever reason they feel like they have to pad that out. And so a show that could've been 1:30 long ends up being two hours long because there's a lot of bloat that ultimately slows down the pace. E3 was just them showing what was needed. They let the games speak for themselves. If this PSX is as packed as some have hinted, then they can do that here. They wouldn't need to pad it because the games will do all the talking.

Hoping for a new Yakuza localisation announcement. I'm guessing they will want to bring over Yakuza Kiwami before Yakuza 6 though. or I could be wrong and they could just go straight for Yakuza 6.

Oh hey that is what I'm hoping for no doubt. 1 hour will be plenty of time if they are gonna follow an E3 style format.

Just a bit worried due to the past 2 PSX's pacing.

Quote honestly people expecting a shitshow would be better then what people expected last year. Go back and read posts before PSX last year and be blown away. Glad to see people mostly have expectations in check this year. There should be great content again this year there is no reason to be so severely dissapointed and angry.

No, but I foresee a lot of "where the hell was X, Y, and Z?"

and

"Shut the fuck up already!!!11 We only have 20 minutes left!!"

Oh god. It's fine to be dissapointed that x game did not show up but I am tried of the hyperbolic nonsense from people when it happens. Colin did that shit last year and it was obnoxious.

"Where is dafuq is FFVII RE and DMC5??!! That's the only thing I care about and it isn't here!!!!"

Someone is gonna say that guaranteed...

DmC 2 would be better but eh

And both Sony and SE deserve every frustrated fan whining at them for showing that shit too early.

You want them to be like Kojima and show shit and every event and nothing gets done?

I'm mean Sony and a lot of Japanese Develoers does this shit will a lot of their games so it's nothing really new.

But they should be able to show or reveal so info about the remake sometime next year since XV just came out.
