CUP NOODLE XV

The quest for this in game wasn't even humorous, it was just a straight up advertisement. I really hope that they aren't beholden to this bullshit in future releases.

However I will say the Cup Noodle photorealistic meal in game with scrambled egg on top looks incredible.

I love cup noodle. Also this year is their "something something" anniversary so their are ads all over Japan at the moment as well as special covers and cups. Though was surprised to see the bilboard when I first fired the game up lol.

Great, we have Pot Noodles and Japan has the infinitely better looking Cup Noodles. Can we swap please?

Seeing as the product placement simply doesn't make sense here, does the EU version still have it included?

The Ultimate Flavor Experience

This is the most shameless marketing ever. I can't help but respect them for that.

Cup Noodles are so delicious, they literally transcend borders to get their message of mouthwatering tastiness to you. Time to fire up Amazon.jp and order some right now. You have to experience the supple majesty of the noodles at least once in your life, even if it's on your death bed. Truly, the Final Fantasy.

I was a bit upset when I saw the product placement outside hammerhead (hate product placement). When I realised that Cup Noodle got an entire side quest to itself where Gladio just loves him some cup noodle... all I could do was laugh.

You can order food on Amazon JP ?

Cup Noodles in Japan are simply the best. Come from many different sizes and tastes. They have lot of egg, meat, shrimp, vegetable inside too.

This is great haha

I remember being shocked at the sheer size and the amount of stuff they managed to cram into the Cup Noodles museum in Yokohama... it's impressive.

Surprised there was no quest for any of the Coleman stuff.

One of the gas stations in the game also takes American Express.

Wonder if KH3 will have blatant advertising.

Hah, I am about to start FF15 for the first time but I wanted to eat some cup noodles first. I just saw this thread after finishing the meal.

Why cup noodles in Japan have shrimp, meat and vegetables?

In here it only has noodles -.-

This is the most important question. We need a damn Cup Noodles upgrade up in here! :-)

OT: on mobile right now, but if that's Felicity Smoak in your avatar, you have good taste :-)

U FORGOT WAFFLE HOUSE who paid no money, so Square Enix ripped off their sign without compensation.

They were in negotiations for the last year to use the Waffle House sign. The reason the game was delayed in September was actually to remove evidence of the Waffle House text from the game. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to create new sign assets.

So the game was solely delayed for Waffle House?

Fuck u Waffle House.

lol

Squeenix shilling hardcore with this game. I guess they tried to cover their bases as much as they could. I really wonder what's the final, overall cost for the entire production since 2006.

Probably not as much as you think since the game wasn't actually in production since 2006
