Only thing I can think of is Obama is hoping that outrage over Russian interference reaches a boiling point when Trump takes over and does little or nothing and hopes that people finally see the GOP for what it is.

Of course Trump will do nothing and sweep it under the carpet with the media help. If we are lucky he may throw some sacrificial lamb under the bus.

But I think all these leaks are to inspire people to fight for their country and have the activism come from the people not him. He doesn't want to appear partisan still by invalidating the election in any way.

I don't think that has to happen. I say "white and male" because you have to be those two things to be allowed to be the third thing, which is "angry as fuck."

I prefer a white male who is vocally angry about racism and sexism and who tells the right-wing to fuck off with that shit, myself. Which is why I'm against Bernie Sanders, who really gives zero fucks about anyone but white working-class racists.
