The one post that really stood out to me on Blizzard's forums was what I believe to be a gay Overwatch fan seemingly thanking Blizzard for showing Tracer as a gay in the comic, and both her and her girlfriend was excited about it. So excited they cried. I believe she said it was a great Christmas present.

All 10 replies I read where attacks, insults, and spam saying "I dont care about you or your girlfriend"

I saw the poster had edited the first post to say sorry. This was just because people were mad at her for sharing her opinion.

I gave up at that point.

I was not expecting them to confirm Tracer's sexuality at all, especially seeing as she's essentially the mascot of the game, but man what a nice surprise! It would be pretty cool for them to confirm Zarya's. Goodness knows there is not enough representation for butch lesbians. They exist too. <3

Around the game's launch, Pharah's character model raised some debating, many people especially arguing that her suit's arm and leg joints were too tight for arms and legs to fit. Her own comic didn't prove it one way or another either, so that was pretty much that, until now.

For those of you asking about the chronal accelerator, the fan-canon is that she has a mini one that doesn't allow her to blink / etc, but keeps her stable in time.

I'm charmed that both Tracer and her SO are Winston's best friends. Also, it is now clear that whatever Reinhardt does, he does big.

The golden part about the meltdowns happening is that this comic is an actual trap for people who are closet homophobes and don't want to admit it. Both gay and straight relationships are side-by-side within the same comic, but only the gay relationship is being objected to on the grounds of "forcing sex into a videogame".

I think in the future I'll just link to this comic every time somebody objects to an LGBT character in media on the ground it has to be specially justified or it's "forced".
