US PSN Holiday Sale Week 3 (12/20/2016 - 12/26/2016)

Should I get Rayman Legends on PS4 or Wii U? Tempted at this price.

It was originally built for Wii U, and some of the levels have moments that work much better with a stylus on a touch screen. With that said, I hear the other versions are good too. But I played on the Wii U and absolutely loved it.

As always. Anyone even slightly interested in Bloodborne should really pick it up for that price.
IMO, game of the gen . And for 7.90 that's crazy

Other than that nothing for me this week. Got tomb raider last week though so I'm fine.
Looking forward to the possible flash sale though I get the feeling it might just be a greatest hit version of the past 3 weeks

How's the battlefront player base?
Also do I need a subscription for FFXIV?

Rented BF this weekend to play the xwing VR mission, no problems finding games although I always went with quickmatch.

Ffxiv gives you one free month and then you need to sub, it was 15/month I think, pretty sure less if you buy multiple months at a time.

Oh awesome, unable to buy anything. Guess Sony is making the rounds with fucking up accounts. Can't purchase anything with PayPal or my CC. Looks like it's my turn for a chat with Sony.

Think I'm going to skip FFXIV then. Not a fan of subscription games, especially if I have to pay to buy it anyway.

Guess I'll just grab the battlefront seasons pass.
anyone got an extra discount code?

Only discount codes left are the ones you have to buy on eBay.

The free ones expired yesterday.

I got Oxenfree and Mirror's Edge. Hoping we get Ratchet & Clank and Second Son for $8 either in the Flash Sale or next week's deals.

I got a $10 PSN voucher from Sony for some reason yesterday. Might pick up either Mirror's Edge, Muramasa or Rocksmith.

Should I consider Overcooked if I intend to mostly play it solo?

it's really not that great alone, the fun is coordinating orders with other people.

the stages are designed for multiple characters they way they split up/isolate people.

if you're coordinated enough you can do the 2 characters on 1 gamepad mode, but i'd really only recommend it for the local multiplayer aspect. I play it all the time on PC through steam link with friends and it's a blast.

Seems like a "down" week. Nothing I really want.

Bloodborne and Mad Max seemed to be priced nicely... but I want those physical....

I would not recommend playing it by yourself, though you could Share Play it with a friend (or two friends splitting a controller) if you're connection is good enough. It's a blast with friends and family. I rank it up there with Towerfall, Helldivers, and the Jackbox party games as my favorite couch co-op games in the past couple of years.
