Overwatch: Reflections comic out [Hanzo cake obsession and Roadhog's circumcision]

So Ana and Rein are Pharrah's parents?

Well, beyond what was linked, and the skin naming scheme from a few pages back, let's take a look at some of the dialog:

Ana Quotes:
(Friendly Reinhardt is eliminated) Reinhardt!

Reinhardt Quotes:
(Friendly Pharah eliminates enemy) Ana would be proud!
(Friendly Pharah eliminates enemy) Ana would approve.

Conversation:
Ana: Reinhardt, I must say you are looking quite well. This life must agree with you.
Reinhardt: And you are looking as lovely as ever.

And you'll notice who's arm is on Ana here:

He spends his free time lurking in the shadows and watching happy families, observing what he can never have.

I mean he's fucking Reaper, what else can one expect.
I don't know man I would be edgy as fuck if I had a beautiful fiance with aspirations of having a family. Then was fucked over and killed by my best friend, then turned into a zombie. Then characterized as a 'bad guy' when he's simply doing what he's always done as the black hand of Overwatch. He was an ASSASSIN for Overwatch but NOW hes the bad guy?

Ana and Rein's eyes complement each other as well.
Which I mean so do Torb's but we all know Torb is a baby pumping machine

Reaper is the Ed Harris from The Rock

The gay character finally being revealed is great, especially considering that it's the closest thing the game has to a "main" character.

It's also nice to see that most of the romantic relationships shown here are between the cast and just random non-OW people. Most ships in OW make so little sense that they just become contrived fantasies.

Maybe if he didn't act like Death McMurder before his zombification then Death McMurder: Deviantart Edition afterwards more people would like him. Assassins don't have to be edgy.

Your avatar is the "edgiest" character in Bloodborne so... :P

Widow misses her husband
Sombra just likes to get drunk at Mexican bars
Reaper longs for a real family
Junkrat and Roadhog just want to be bros

Maybe all the evil guys need a hug?

The Overwatch villains always seemed like the comic book villains who were technically evil most of the time, but who had their own motivations and skewed moral code. And they would be willing to ally with heroes when they had to fight a greater evil (ala Thanos or Galactus).

If there's ever an Overwatch animated movie or series, the finale would probably involve all of the cast working together.

To be fair I don't believe he wore a mask, going by his origin skin or any other art. He's just got some phantom of the Opera shit going on and is horribly disfigured. He'd would of rather stayed dead then been brought back a monster. Just brought back to see what he's lost pretty much. The way his characterisation is handled could have been better...I think it's the voice. He "didn't ask for this".

Depressing idea, but what if Reaper is about to eliminate one of the parents. He has been hunting down former Overwatch agents.

I mean they're both in hiding/using secret identities at this point, and 76 is still trying to figure out what all brought down Overwatch.

Technically Mercy is doing the same (Genji letter aside) - she looks to be out on her own doing medical work. I guess it's meant to be pre-Recall.

The first page clearly shows the recall is active

The two times we've seen Reyes (Reaper before Reaper) are in his Origins Edition skin and in that image from the Ana introduction video; both times he's just looked edgy af. Genji has horrible disfigurements but he's still a good guy and tries to better himself; Reyes just ended up being an even bigger dick.

So winston wonders how everyone is doing, implying overwatch, but then it shows all the characters who aren't part of Overwatch. It even shows Sombra with Mcree....why? That seems to just confuse things. I was under the impression that in-game is non canon and the comics are the canon version, but at this point it just seems like a barely explained mess in some ways.

The woman that destroyed a thousand ships. Unless I missed something, I'm naming her Helen.

An aside, but I didn't realise there were so many Overwatch comics already... I just spent half an hour reading all of them.

I kind of get the impression that he knows one or all of them somehow.

Although I could see him just being envious of their normalcy, too.

Sombra and McCree used to be a part of Overwatch.

The majority of characters in the game either used to be part of Overwatch before it fell, or formed the defacto "ghost" overwatch when Winston activated the Recall.
