Cool on Tracer being LGBT. Wasn't expecting that. I knew they were going to reveal one of the characters as LGBT soon, but I thought they were going to throw shippers a bone and make Pharmercy an actual thing.

Speaking of which, how did Pharmercy even get started? They don't seem to have any in game dialogue with each other that is romantic in sense, or have any interaction in the comics whatsoever. Did the entire ship set sail just because they make a good team gameplay wise? Because if so, that's pretty weak. I'd be like saying Reinheart and D.VA make a good couple because they're ults work well together.

It started because

1) The name kinda writes itself
2) Pharah and Mercy pocket can was, and still can be a very dangerous combo if the players are proficient enough
3) They do have a voice interaction in the game where Mercy tells Pharah "I'll be watching over you" to which Pharah replies "Then I have nothing to worry about"

Both Pharmercy and Genji X Mercy make sense to me since they have interactions that support the possibility.

The thing that makes me the happiest about this comic, is that is fucking suplexes Widow X Tracer into the fucking ground. Its such a stupid ship, where its basically "Oh they hate each other... they must love each other".

Mercy and Pharah do have an interaction though - something like "Keep the skies clear for me" to which Pharah responds "Let's keep the sky clear together". I think it's been bugged on and off, though.

It's a popular ship for some because it offers both lesbian and mixed-race relationship representation - either of those is rare, let alone both. I mentioned it in an earlier post, but it's why I like Genji/Mercy as well.

Hes still wrong but I almost get Torbjorns hate of omnics now. With 8 kids and a wife the fear must be super real that just one rogue omnic could destroy someone he loves. Its an understandable fear in the sense of PTSD. While analogous to racism its not quite the same since Omnics DID actually slaughter billions.

I love Omnics and they shouldn't be blamed for being forcibly controlled like that but it still paints Torb in a more sympathetic light.

It wasn't the majority of omnics fault and Torbjorn is wrong to be bigoted but the fact a second Omnic Crisis is starting up does point out that omnics can be controlled and turned hostile again.

Its more like someone hating the Geth in Mass Effect. Closeminded but ultimately at least somewhat understandable
