How is the single player campaign in Rainbow Six 3?

Worth getting the game just for that?

Thanks for the Neverwinter Nights code Tizoc. Always wanted to try one of those games.

If anyone still has an Ori 75% off code, please let me know. :)

I want to say it's the best in the series. Of course RS Vegas was awesome but for old school Rainbow Six the third one is the one.

Granted, I haven't played it since forever.

Here are the games I'm thinking of getting. Seem like a good set?

KERBAL is supposed to be awesome, but I'm afraid I won't have the patience to really get to where it clicks.
Firewatch also seems pretty divisive. Worth it?

I've never played either and just want one that has a good single player campaign ^^;

So far have:

Abzu
Dex
Hero Siege
Jotun: Valhalla Edition
Chroma Squad

in my cart totalling £16.09. Not sure what else to get.

3 is the best one. All the games are good unlike the other packs which have weak games. It also has Quiplash, which is their best game.

The only real reason to buy 2 now is Fibbage, which admittedly is very good. It has old Quiplash which is not necessary. Bidiots is alright but if you want a drawing game I'd just get Drawful 2 which is standalone.

Pack 1 is only worth buying now for You Don't Know Jack, which is just trivia for up to 4 players. But there's a lot of content in YDKJ do it would easily justify its price if you like that.

Cool, thanks for the advice!

For Chroma Squad, you might be interested in the BundleStars Nemesis bundle. For just slightly more you can get Lovely Planet Arcade, SanctuaryRPG, THOTH, Broken Sword Trilogy, Hue, and a bunch of other games.

https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/nemesis-bundle-2

You might even be able to use the WINTERSALE10 code on it.

Might not be something to get for a campaign, in that there probably isn't much of a story and cutscenes and such, it's more like a puzzle game in a sense.XD I had a blast just lonewolfing in terrorist hunt mode.

Thumper is incredible. I'll be picking up Abzu and Firewatch myself over Christmas too. Good list!

BTW
The next Humble Monthly should go up on the 1st of January.

Well I may regret it difficulty wise but I finally picked up Darkest Dungeon...the news of the shorter mode coming helped my decision, game will be just as hard but less grindy, not sure how they will achieve this but sounds interesting...also beta controller support, although I read the scheme is pretty bad on consoles...

My cousin has a GTX 840M NVidia graphics card last I checked.
I want to get him either
Just Cause 2 or
Sleeping Dogs

Which one would have better performance on his system?

Bundles (from HB, IG and others, not steam) and no dailies killed steam sales for me. I have thousands games in my backlog already and discounts are not looking hot either, even with my regional pricing. And I can't buy indie games anymore if they priced more than 2$, because i always thought "hey, it can appear in some next Humble Bundle, no need to buy it now".

This is by far the best tactical shooter ever made. Buy it with your eyes closed. I still have my original PC release with box and keys. AMAZING game. If you can stand the graphics, Rogue Spear and the original Rainbow Six are also great.

Finally got to a place with Wifi, so I am looking at the Steam Store now. How is Rome Total War II nowadays? I saw the Total War 2014 bundle, and I am flirting about buying it, since I only have Empire and Shogun 2 (no expansions). On that note, how is the expansion for Fall of the Samurai? I still have barely touch this franchise since OG Rome.

P.S. Is The Old Republic and FFXIV unable to save progress already downloaded via the patcher? I live in a foreign country, and it takes a *loooooong* time to download anything. As such, I cannot keep a consistent internet connection for large files like TOR/FFXIV.

You have a set of objectives that you are kind of free to do how you want, you control several team mates either directly or give them orders, and before every mission you can plan the mission on a map. It is still a shooter but you are free to execute the plan as flawlessy as you can or just "quake" it.

As I said, it's been years since I played so I might have little too nostalgic/fond memory of it but I still think you should give it a try if you haven't played any of them before.

I would say it's similar do games like Ghost Recon or even Hitman.

Is Dust: Elysian tail any good? It's very cheap right now

I really didn't like it.

The character designs bothered me, they tried way too hard to be cute and it just ends up being creepy. If you're into that sort of thing then by all accounts there's an enjoyable game underneath... just do yourself a favour and look at plenty of screenshots beforehand, make sure you're comfortable with that art style. I felt like I was looking at Sonic fan art.

Anyone know how to make it so my browser stops signing me out of Steam? I mean....3 minutes and zero page changes and signs out.

Well, PoE is a much better game, so if it's strictly a matter of time I'd recommend that, but Grim Dawn is an excellent little ARPG and certainly worth $13.

The fact that PoE is free, and has so many constant and big updates is crazy. They must make a ton of MTX though. I will buy some stuff from PoE this week as I have 4000 hours and only spent about 30 dollars on stash tabs. They deserve more money.

Thanks everyone, gonna get Just Cause 2 for my cousin soon and have added Rainbow Six 3 to my cart.

Any other RS games that have good campaigns? Someone mentioned a few and I'd appreciate some elaboration on that if possible :3

This reminds me, I plan to play through PoE for the first time soon. Are the DLCs worth picking up?

Path of Exile? Its free to play. No expansions as all expansions are just added to the main game. PoE could also mean Pillars of Eternity though, which I have but have not played.

.

Probably a server hiccup. Sometimes when there is an overload of traffic (like when a sale starts) it can cause that staying logged in doesn't work

Are there any mods for Tales of Zestiria on PC that fix/change/just completely remove the dumb equipment skill system? I actually enjoyed the game (on PS4) more than most, but everytime I think about going back to it I remember spending so much time on the dumb equipment stuff that I just can't.

I loved Dragonfall! I skipped Returns, is it worth going back to? Should I play it before Hong Kong?

It's not vital to play since it's not a direct narrative sequel, and it also feels considerably less polished and ambitious than Dragonfall (and Hong Kong), both narratively and mechanically. But yeah, I actually do recommend you playing it. Aside from gameplay polish, the order doesn't matter.

I played Returns as last (first DF, then HK, then RE) and while it's definitely the least amazing, least polished and least meaty of the trilogy, I still appreciated it for being the first. A lot of its ideas we see back in DF and HK.

In hindsight, I think I would have started it chronologically in order of release (RE, DF, HK).
