There is a thread on the good games that came out in 1997 and it is depressing to see how far gaming as fallen.

That was just a regular year in gaming but got damn so many different, new and exiting releases on a ton of platforms.

No it was a dominant defense and Eli making a handful of miraculous plays. Giants have a dominant defense, and Eli definitely isn't who he used to be but he can still make those plays, especially with OBJ

There is no lock on which teams is going to win but I think it is a lock that Texans/Raiders is going to be all time horrible game.

Yeah that would suck, it would be nice to get a playoff win though since we haven't done that since 2001 I believe. I think we could beat Oakland, Houston would be a close one just because they have a really good defense, with their garbage offense though I think our defense could shut them down and our offense is actually not bad.

I probably worded it poorly but I'm thinking about teams going into NE for the second round. If the Dolphins win they go to NE, otherwise Houston or Oakland goes. I think the Dolphins have a better shot in that game than Houston or Oakland. Regardless, NE would probably kill any of the 3 easily so it's up to whoever is in the AFCCG to bring justice to the world (go Chiefs!).

Ah ok yeah you're right but our real last hope are the Chiefs so once again dolphin fans everywhere will be rooting for the Chiefs.
 
Rodgers is going to look like shit and it won't be close, or play average and it won't be enough to overcome the 400+ yard game by Odell

how do you look at that line-up on defense and expect them to keep him in check? look at their last stretch of opponents when the defense 'turned the corner'... who did they have to be worried about on offense? Eli will have no shame spamming throws to OBJ like he has all season, and that's all it's going to take

Yeah I keep hearing commentators talk about how GB's D turned on down the stretch, but the MNF game against the Eagles the Eagles were running the ball great and dougie went all Andy Reid and had Wentz throw every down. Lucky for Gb the Giants dont run the ball very well so it should come down to can Eli make enough plays.
 
Giants postseason is going to depend on their garbage LT.

If that guy (Flowers?) plays slightly above what an average LT can play at I would give the Giants odds at beating any team in the playoffs assuming playoff Eli shows up.

If that guy continues to be garbage that will be too much to overcome.

I'm actually comfortable with their run defense, but there are huge plays to be made in the passing game if the other team keeps taking shots - Seahawks and Lions games could've been much different if the QB play/playcalling wasn't awful because the plays were there

Broadcasters of NFL games saw television viewership drop an average of 8 percent for the 2016 regular season, as the average game was watched by 1.4 million fewer people than last season (16.5 million versus 17.9 million), according to league data obtained by ESPN.

Prime-time broadcasts were the most affected. ESPN's Monday Night Football (17 games) and NBC's Sunday Night Football (19 games, including two Thursdays), the two most costly rights deals, were down 12 and 10 percent, respectively, in total viewers.

Daytime games on Fox and CBS, which each broadcast 27 games, were down 6 and 7 percent, respectively, in total viewers.

Thursday Night Football games were excluded from the data comparison. A variety of factors made the comparison versus last year skewed, including streaming on Twitter.

Conference calls are the worst. I don't understand why people are incapable of muting their phones when they are not talking. A conference call of over 5 people is a massive shitshow. I heard some dudes GPS going off in the background, and it sounded like another person was in a kitchen banging pots and pans together. You'd think people in charge of multi-million dollar SAR and EO satellites would figure out how to get phone lines that don't sound like constant static, too. Annoying.

Anyway, more Eagles offseason talks cause fuck all yall and your playoff teams. Eagles bros, do you think it's worth signing Bennie Logan to a big contract? I was all for it initially, but I think Beau Allen is capable of filling the position and any money that would go to Logan is better off spent trying to get free agent CBs and WRs. I really like Bennie Logan though, he's one of the best interviews I've ever heard and seems like genuinely good people.

The quality of speaker and conference calls sucks, but the convenience is the best.

One of my favorite features of Macs is how easy it is to answer phone calls and text messages on your computer. One of my most used features. So cool to take a phone call on the computer. It just works..

We definitely need him back. Beau is good but Logan is too good of a run stopper to let walk away, and Howie seems to be big on keeping his guys.

We will probably restructure Barwin, hopefully Peters, and release/trade Kendricks. I wouldn't really worry about the cap situation with Howie.

I have never needed or wanted to do this. I always have my smartphone right next to me. What's the advantage? I guess I can see it for text messages.

ESP was saying the other day that he heard his agent is asking for a deal in the $80m range. I would let him walk in a second if that is the case. He is a nice player but nothing special at all. Howie always massively over pays his guys though, so that way he can tout that they all get 2nd contracts like that is some measure of success. I have no doubt that Logan will get the Curry/Ertz treatment and get a ridiculous contract.

Really tough call. Bennie is great and underrated, and the run d took a noticeable dive after he was injured. Beau did pretty well, but the problem is who's going to rotate in for him if Bennie leaves? And he has great chemistry with Cox. The flip side is the amount of money he demands. If you look around the division, Crawford and Harrison are each pulling in $9M a year. We can't afford to sink that money into our DL. I also fear that we may be overvaluing our homegrown players. If we could get Bennie on a 5year $30-35M deal, I'd be in, but much more than that and unfortunately I think we have to let him walk.

Texans already have a very good D, if they brought in a guy like chip to fix the O they could be great. I also think that Savage could do well in Chip's system. Brock would be the absolute worst QB on earth to run it though.
