Honestly, if the additions to Smash Bros. are as minimal as Laura and Source Gaming indicate, I'd really hate for it come out so late in the year. It should just come out a few months after the Switch launchs, in like the summer or something.

Other fighting games do this all the time though. Just combine the 3DS and Wii U content, add all DLC levels and characters, add a couple new characters

Not likely at all, but it would be awesome, and a nice thing to do towards their most hardcore fans. Since there is no chance of Wii U backwards compatibility, at least give us 3DS/DS!

No. The design is inconsistent - look at the placement of the Nintendo Network logo and amiibo logo. Additionally, the Switch logo is centered while the NN logo is right aligned, and not right aligned to the Switch logo.

Whoever made these images clearly has never designed packaging before.

nintendo won't sacrifice that much real estate to the nintendo switch logo. the only reason they did so with the 3ds was due to the logo fitting on one line and still looking good way more easily.

Unless they think public's perception of console games is tied to box size, which is a possibility I guess.
