Finally done!
It probably took me close to 20 hours in total and I couldn't really tell you why. lol
I guess 3 hours per character isn't the worst, but I wish it could be less.

i updated krita and now it's having issues with the eye dropper and lasso tools - they both seem to be activating about two centimeters away from the actual cursor, and i got tired of trying to deal with that so i'm calling it a night.

I mean I feel like I'd end up stabbing some shit or marking all over on something I've put a lot of time in over the past couple weeks. I think it's a bad idea to try while I'm angry.

Oh, I had a moment like that. I wrecked a painting I made out of anger when it was supposed to be like a piece in memory of my dead grandfather and it was just kind of a ":l huh.. i should have taken more pictures before going nuts" moment after the deed was done.

Well, you know your emotional outlets best! I don't actually use art for much personal emotional processing because it feels contrived to me (I am just not that kind of artiste lol), so it'd be wasted efforts for me to do anything while angry or in a bad mood too. I'd go reset my mood with food and sleep.
However, maybe it would be good for others to vent and process (maybe on a new blank canvas or sheet.. or photocopy/duplicate!), and maybe that process itself creates a more compelling piece of work (that whatever inspirational emotional crescendo spark i kind of lack lol).

Thanks, man. Trying to get the creative engine running again. Or...it's just an excuse to procrastinate from work/book stuff.

And, yes! Seemed like it was time for it to live again. Would love it if you popped by and dropped some of your sweet, sweet arts in there. It's good fodder for the one a day thing, at the least!
