1. Spider-Man - Spidey's got immense popularity, and that combined with the mastery of tone Studios has with these characters means Spidey has a legit shot of cracking a billion. Not a huge one, but an actual decent shot of making some ridiculous bank.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - GOTG was a surprise hit, and now that it's an established brand with trailers making it look it like it's more of what people want, it also stands a good chance of cracking IM3-level numbers.
3. Lego Batman - It looks funny enough for kids, filled with enough references for nerds and a decent enough plot to justify get my butt in a seat to see Will Arnett get the role his voice was destined for.
4. Justice League - It has Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash in it. If BvS made nearly $800 million and it was mediocre, to put it lightly, then if this is good, it could very easily make a billion.
5. Thor 3: The Dark World 2: Ragnarok - This one might be the hardest sell of them all, considering how mediocre past Thor movies have been. But, I trust in Taika, so I think this is going to be the critical sleeper hit. It's going to be ridiculous, funny, and action-packed, and I hope Taika blows us all away.
6. Wonder Woman - This one, to me, is the most likely to "flop" as a block-buster. No offense to Gal Gadot, but when your body of work is basically just the Fast and Furious movies and other bit parts in critically-panned movies, I don't see how you can suddenly become phenomenal and really do justice to WW. In my eyes, this movie has to be really good, like 90%+ on RT good, to become a massive hit, because the cast of this movie is fairly unknown outside of their respective franchises and we honestly haven't seen too much of the film's dramatic scenes. Most of the trailers focus on the action and the bits of comedy, but nothing on the actual acting. That's what worries me, and I hope I'm proven wrong, I really do. "Wonder Woman" is a symbol, an icon beaten to the silver screen by Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, and Juggalo stripper Harley Quinn. Female-led blockbusters have not had a good run, with "Ghostbusters" flopping pretty badly, so if "Wonder Woman" is a hit, it can be the "fuck you" needed to show Hollywood that blockbusters can be more diverse and have leads who aren't white, straight, and male.
7. Logan - It's going to be good, but it's not going to be "Deadpool" level good.
