I choose the Power button.

Implies new characters. Evil Ryu and Violent Ken? I'm guessing remix characters (clones, if you will).

Not buying the system at launch but might be cool as a later pickup.

e: ONI as the score leader. Maybe a Nash for good measure, I'd bet.

What's wrong with HD Remix? I didn't play SF back then but I thought I remember people praising it for being exactly the same as old school SF2 but with a fresh coat of paint.

The art style is very divisive. I am not a fan of it myself.

So that means I just usually end up playing Super Turbo on my Dreamcast.

EDIT:

Yeah, you can switch the art from HD to original?

I see what you did there :-P

Awesome, this is the best fighter ever so its cool that its coming to Switch. Lets hope Street Fighter 3 and 4 is coming too, and that Sonys grip on 5 lets that appear eventually as well.

The balance changes are nonsensical really change the game for the worse. It's just a really bad version of ssf2t.

the art style is shit, the gameplay is actually changed to take out pauses when you hit someone leading to a completely different flow, the inputs sometimes dont even register to the move your trying to do, shitty superimposed character models if you choose 'classic option'.

Its just bad all around.

People just finding any reason to trash SF. HDR and 4:3 SDR with new characters. Can't complain except for Switch system and controller pricing

I just noticed there's no DPad on the controller what?! I can't play with analog stick

For people asking, HDR fixed the random special move input window and a few overlapping special move inputs.

It rebalanced the game so it is different from ST. Some people like it, some don't. You could always turn the old sprites on 4:3 mode on, although it would clash with the new backgrounds.

The online wasn't great, but was one of the first examples of rollback net code.

it seems people hate it because they never figured out how to go into the options menu and change the graphics

To be fair, playing Gief is more enjoyable for me in HD Remix. The more streamlined Spinning Pile Driver and Lariat make it easy for pad warriors like me :-P

Also, being able to switch (hur hur) the backgrounds back to the original pixel versions is great. That was one of my main issues with HD remix on PS360.

Also guys, calm down a bit. HD Remix had an "original mode" that was much closer to ST than the HD Remix mode.
