We are a Bomberman family at our house, so this is a must-have. Konami actually has done OK for themselves this time.

Wait only 8 players? They couldn't have done 16 to take advantage of the joycons? If you're going to take away the dpad you should really be pushing that local multiplayer stuff as much as possible.

I think the silence of switch features like VC and the overall pricing are putting a dampener on things. Personally speaking Zelda alone justifies my Switch purchase and a new bomberman is the cherry on top, but I can't blame anyone wanting more variety in the lineup.

Bomberman doesn't need more than 8 players, unless it's Wide Mode. And the world is no longer ready for Wide Mode.

I only had Bomberman DS and that was great. It even allowed for 8-player battle mode using 1 cart.

You're good to go with any of 'em, they all shared the exact same battle mode. It's simple Bomberman multiplayer goodness.

Basically, you should get all 5 of them. They're all good. I'm partial to Bomberman Land Touch 1 and 2 for their single-player campaigns.

This was a big surprise! A new Bomberman game with a story mode and 8 player online battles feels like a dream come true these days. And it looks legit great!

I hope they have more plans for Bomberman this year with that anniversary logo. A Smash appearance will do nicely~

Had a working 10 player setup on the saturn. Good times.

It's the first thing I set up on an emulator when I build a new system, and the reason I have a surplus of Saturn USB controllers I will never sell.
