Movie seems to have quite a bit lesser budget than the other ones, but trailer looks awesome and they are nailing the ost, I'm not complaining.

wait what, luc besson is a pedophile now?

He definitely likes (or at least liked) them young

Besson (born 1959) has been married four times; first, in 1986, to actress Anne Parillaud who starred in Besson's Nikita (1990).[citation needed] Besson and Parillaud had a daughter, Juliette, born in 1987. The couple divorced in 1991.

Besson's second wife was actress Maïwenn Le Besco, who was 15 when they began dating in 1991.[17] They were married in late 1992 when Le Besco was pregnant with their daughter Shanna, who was born on 3 January 1993.[18] Le Besco later claimed that their relationship inspired Besson's film Léon (1994).[17] Their marriage ended in 1997, when Besson became involved with actress Milla Jovovich during the filming of The Fifth Element (1997). He married the 22-year-old on 14 December 1997, at the age of 38, but they divorced in 1999.[19]

Wonder how many times The Last of Us will be mentioned in this thread. Someone should keep count. ( Not me though!)

Cool. It (seemingly)gives me the one thing I've never knew I kinda wanted, which is a superhero road trip through the great American southwest.

There was a thread around here that detailed the original drafts of Leon that included Leon and Mathilda having consensual sex.

Did I just watch the ending of the fucking movie.

Looks good.

Fox has the best comic book movie in years with Deadpool.
If this is half as good in its own way, it'll be a treat.

CinemaBlend interview with 'Logan' director James Mangold

[Mangold:] We all are faced with the issues of dealing for an ailing parent, but what happens when the ailing parent has the world's most powerful brain and they're losing control of their brain. That's an interesting question. What happens when you're a superhero who has saved worlds and defeated villains, but you're not healing and your power is not the same as it used to be in the case of Logan, and you have to hold a day job just to take care of your ailing parent. And then the last question is, what happens when suddenly fatherhood is thrust upon you and a child comes into your life? How do you make those connections? How do you deal with it? And if that child is a mutant, how do you deal with the interesting reflection of your own self you see in that kid?

Looks great. I'm glad to see Fox embracing the R rating.

Shame we'll never get Wolverine in the MCU.

Possibly. I know I'm not watching any more trailers for Logan. I've seen enough to know I'm watching it in the theater

Wasn't really even hyped to see the movie till I saw that. Though I havnt been following it.

Looks really cool. I know it was inevitable but the thought of wolverine slowing down (a bit) kinda sucks for me. Always see him as an unstoppable force. Will be interesting.

Yes. Mathilda was supposed to be 14 or 15 instead of whatever age Natalie Portman was. I don't remember if the script was toned down voluntarily after they hired a younger actress, or if it was one of the changes that Portman's parents demanded, but they dropped it.

There was originally some dumb justification about Leon and Mathilda being similar mental ages.

I feel like an idiot. She kicked some serious ass. What I really meant to say was that I'd never seen a child straight up
killing people
the way x-23 does in this movie. It was pretty jarring. Can't wait to rewatch the trailer later.

Bruh...Hit Girl kills people more brutally than X23 in the trailer IMO

What the hell...sounds good but I wonder how they will tie it into the ending of DOFP. Hope they explain how it got to that point

I think it goes like this:
X-Men 1-3 + Origins + Wolverine + Future part of DOFP -> changed timeline Logan is in at the end of the film -> Logan

First Class -> DOFP -> Apocalypse -> ________ -> Deadpool

but then again Logan's DNA was taken in Apocalypse so who the fuck knows

My head and ass just exploded.

I like to believe Deadpool takes place in an alternate timeline

Damn, asking the real questions. If this nails the execution, we've got new competition to The Dark Knight in terms of character.
