I don't like the design of the Zoras in this game.
but they've shown a wide variety of different Zora creatures inspired by various marine life. You're just saying you dont like any of them? Some of them aren't red as a base

Only royal Zora are red, or at least that's the way it was in Twilight Princess.
we see another Zora that starts shaking Link's hand, likely a warrio and not royalty.
Your opinion is wrong.

Futurama had an episode on that.

Holy shit, I JUST realized that on the side of her head, it's the Spiritual Stone of Water.
You know Aonuma's comment about the timeline placement, specifically noting the history of attacks by Ganon, makes me think that this might actually take place after Zelda II. The downfall timeline is the only timeline where Ganon is even a thing; in the other timelines he remained Ganondorf.
And if it's placed between OOT and ALTTP, there hasn't really been multiple attacks by Ganon yet. So the narration wouldn't make sense.
This might come at the very end of the downfall timeline, and that makes me think this might be the game where we defeat Ganon permanently.
Inconclusive. This could still be a new Link that simply knew the Deku Tree before Calamity Ganon appeared. Remember we're missing his entire story, Link is starting off "blank", but not "fresh" like in other games. The Tree is fully grown in flashbacks, not the seedling it was at the end of OoT. Zelda knew the Tree in the past (which she didn't in OoT), it makes sense that Link would have as well, he just doesn't remember. The Deku Tree specifically says "You don't any recollection of me, however," so he knows this Link. The only Link that could be is the Hero of Time.

Amazing!
How did I not catch these?!?
This is why you're not part of GameXplain.

that's quite a jump. I never got from the trailer that he knows THIS specific Link, but that he recognizes Link regardless of the version.
Or that he did meet Link, but he has amnesia.

Not even Zeltik caught this as far as I know.

Yep, I posted about this video in another thread.
Hopefully Lon Lon Milk is in the game...
What...that seems like more of a jump...why would he tell someone "Hey, I've seen someone who looks like you, but you don't seem to remember even though you have no reason to"
If it's the first time they're meeting it could be he forgot that this isn't the same Link.
But let's be completely real, it likely is that they met before the 100 year skip, and he has amnesia as he remembers the past. In 100 years a Deku tree sprout isn't going to go from tiny tree to gigantic motherfucker.

Nailed it on the head. Link's past from 100 years ago is supposed to be a big part of the game and we have evidence indicating that a great deal of the footage of Zelda in the latest trailer takes place in the past via flashbacks, namely the scene where she interacts with the Great Deku Tree (who is clearly fully grown and not a sprout in said-scene).
I'm thinking this is may very well be post-AoL in the Zelda timeline.
Anything can be explained by saying 'it's magic' lol. Regardless, sorry but it makes no sense for me that this game is set with hero of time. You're focusing too much on the great deku tree appearance, which can be explained as the sprout hundreds of years later, and not enough on the line that the history of hyrule is one of fighting ganon many many times. Which Aonuma said to focus on when saying where to focus to try to pinpoint its location in the timeline. Ganon only came forth IN Ocarina of Time. We'll find out when it comes though.
Yes the Zora are ao beautiful. Always been my favorite race in Zelda. Was disappointed a bit in skyward sword and kind of ww because of the absence.Agreed. I adore her design - it's very 80's Anime
"Simpsons did it!"
*sorry I just had to use that line lol
I didn't say it was the hero of time, only that the Deku tree has seen THIS Link before, not some random previous one
I'm confused what's the difference between the ganondorf sealed timeline and the sacred real protected timeline?
I'm confused what's the difference between the ganondorf sealed timeline and the sacred real protected timeline?
Does something in OOT cause this timeline split or is it just due to the different stories they decided to go with for MM and WW?
How come GameXplain hasn't done a analysis video for the Zelda trailer yet?
They're not doing anymore because the game is close to releasing
They'll discuss the promo art that comes out, but no more analysis because they don't want to be spoiled
How did anyone not catch that!?
How could you possibly unite a world where Hyrule is flooded and a new continent discovered to two other timelines that Hyrule still exists?
Short from saying and then the Gods didn't like this new continent and drained the oceans again

Yeah I think it's a straight up Zelda II sequel starring the original Link.
