I hope Riverdale is good, since I've got it set to record and there isn't much to watch on Thursdays other than the amazing Baskets and the shambling corpse of Supernatural.

Pretty sure Odd Couple wasn't actually on last night and it was actually just a "special presentation" of The Big Bang Theory. Odd couple is back next week though. Oddly enough they had Odd Couple be new by itself last week instead of airing it this week with the other new stuff.
 
It's weird that Lucifer/Gotham get similar demo ratings, but more folks tune in for Lucifer

I wonder/hope if they'll swap the two shows next year... so don't have Gotham/Supergirl competing for my love!

Gotham and Lucifer continuing to show how invaluable they are to Fox.

Supergirl..., I have no idea what's going on there. Increased competition maybe?

You never judge a CW's shows rating with other network's ratings. For the CW, anything higher then a 0.5 is an acceptable rating for them.

Odd Couple is DOA already I believe, they cancelled the back half 13 episodes of the third season. Show isn't too bad but its not anything anyone will miss after its gone.

Great cast on it though, Yvette from Community, Bunk from The Wire, and Terri Hatcher

The actor playing Felix is hilarious. Matthew Perry as Oscar tends to just yell his lines, which I think has become Perry's trademark. I have about 10 eps on my DVR. My wife bailed on it.

Dunno. Its last episode (in November) was a 1.1, and it returned last night to 0.8. Seems less than great to me. A 0.8 is also slightly below this season's average.

I have no idea whether this is going the way of Yahoo Screen, since 1) I keep forgetting this is an actual thing and I'm still not sure what they offer 2) There are some reports that some company Verizon bought is taking over.

Variety also learned that the streaming service will now be rebuilt by the team that came over to the company with Vessel, a company Verizon acquired last October. Go90’s San Jose office was largely tasked with product development, but also included some content operations and marketing positions.

The service was meant to appeal to an audience that doesn’t watch traditional pay TV services anymore, and primarily consumes videos on their phones. However, the service never really caught on with its target audience, despite Verizon spending heavy on product development and marketing as well.

Oh, and I did some quick, unscientific as fuck, comparisons between a number of streaming services (the last one in the comparison is the main Swedish/Nordic competitor to Netflix, included mostly for my own amusement, and for reference the population of Sweden is on par with North Carolina):

Man, those timeless ratings are abysmal... I'm really enjoying the show quite a bit.. It's basically Stargate with time travel instead of new planets.
 
Sometimes I wonder how these platforms like Fullscreen and Seeso could possibly be making any money. There's no way, right? The only time I even hear them being spoken about is when a comedian is talking about some new deal they have there. Anytime I see that a new streaming platform "for millennials" is launching, I know exactly what it'll turn into. They'll grab a bunch of Youtubers and have them create very cheap and uninteresting content, and then burn them off after a few months and scramble at something else. Most of these Youtube/Instagram/Vine comedians are bottom of the barrel hacks. You got some folks who have done super creative things, but the vast majority are amateur hour. And when you give them a slightly bigger spotlight it becomes glaringly obvious.

Seeso is a little better and gets "real" comics and people that can actually write. But with them I don't think it's even an issue of quality, it's time. I have Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, Starz, and Amazon Prime Instant. You could literally give me a great streaming platform for free and I probably wouldn't watch it. There isn't enough time or attention span. These platforms need to chill. And if you're gonna take a shot at it, have something like Broad City or Search Party at least so theres a chance people might get interested.

Bingo. Millennials aren't clamoring for another streaming service because they already have one. It's called Netflix and it's truly more than enough for the average person. (and if it's not, there are a host of other very strong alternatives/supplements like you said.)

Now, a streaming service geared towards another demographic might work, like one aimed at seniors or conservative/religious people, but even then...

Im not certain, but Lethal Weapon has to be one of Fox's best rating shows currently right?

Definitely a S2 - it's going to show on Aus TV as well so it definitely has some pulling power.

Unfortunately for CBS there are probably a lot of Sci-Fi nerds who know how to pirate TV shows. Fortunately for CBS seniors don't know to do that but how many are going to subscribe to streaming service? How many even own a device that could stream CBS All Access?

I just assume they're created to show "losses" on the balance sheet of their parent corporations to reduce their tax burdens. That or to launder money.
