That was actually six hours before it ended. Though there were big streams going on until the end trying the get people to donate, I don't know of anyone doing that for the games this year.

The race is pretty close now between Pokken and Marvel 3. There's still gas in the tank for games like KI, though. Tomorrow night/Wednesday morning will be the real battle, though.

Last year EVO was pretty much a worse year 1 MvC3 for the game though, shit was painful. The guy that won knew what he was doing but so many people let him get away with shit for free the entire tournament. I was fucking yelling at my screen
Even if Woods donated, he would still be limited to a 10k donation. The Windjammers dream is already dead.

Tekken 7 is already in Evo 2017..

This, his Bandai Namco job is mainly for Tekken, not Pokkén Tournament. He's free to support Mahvel.
Clearly he doesn't, but stil a bit strange you're willing to be detrimental over a game that's made by the company your working in. Not just the company, the same development team.
Btw, If he is also working for EVO, how he can be involved in this?
They've sold 236 shirts so far from what I was looking into TeeSpring we can expect 3.5K++ Donation from the drive. And, no it has not been made still 8 hours left to get a T-Shirt or Hoodie.

Also, he is personally donating sticks NOT money to a community he likes which he has done MANY MANY times before in the past.

Markman is also a gamer at heart, and a FGC pillar. He helped many communities back in his Madcatz days too.
I have no issue with it. Specially since I want Marvel in, but It's not the same position he was when done in the past. He's pretty much the same boat Max was. And I think at the end, Max made the right move by not getting to involved in this. Not that much from Namco Bandai position (I'm confident no one cares about tbh) rather than the EVO side.
Not to be devil's advocate, but maybe a good showing of the game in EVO finals day could made them do what you're suggesting (Specially the switch port).
If 100% sure that if it wasn't for EVO, Sm4sh wouldn't have a "for Glory" mode this days.
