Bored as fuck right now and been watching some old-ish Power Rangers clips on YT because why not. Looking at these costumes, most of them are alright but some stand out as pretty damn cool IMO. I stopped watching back when Ninja Storm was airing (for no particular reason) so I'm only gonna be posting what I'm familiar with, which is everything up to Ninja Storm. Also this is all off the top of my head so forgive me if I omit any dope designs.

First off, we got this crimson Thunder Ranger dude. Nice colour scheme with a pretty snazzy helmet that comes together with the whole design and just works.

Next, we got the MMPR White Ranger, which isn't even from the same show that Mighty Morphin' is based on, IIRC. Quite elegant (for Power Rangers). Plus he has a talking tiger sword which is always good.

Can't forget the MMPR Green Ranger. He's got that pauldron (did it always look so flimsy tho?) and probably the best helmet on the team.

Bonus Lost Galaxy Red Ranger for having the most wack costume on his team.

Love the simplicity of the In Space costumes. The Helmets look kind of alien which fits with the space theme.

I like the design, simplistic like MMPR, somewhat military/rescue responders inspired like the theme of the show

Time Force - Quantum Ranger
Probably the true successor to the Green Ranger in term of badassery.

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (Not going to call it by it American name)
Power Rangers + Pirates? Hell yeah.

Gokaiger was the the best team suit by far. Titanium Ranger was always my fave individual costume.

The Ninja Storm rangers got the short end of the stick, the Thunder Rangers looked much better.

The Dairangers got their mech footage and White Ranger pilfered for MMPR, when they should've brought the whole team overseas.

How is the rest of the MMPR team supposed to compete when the White Ranger makes their duck-lips masks look old and busted.

Damn, they look great. The best Ranger designs usually have gold accents.

Didn't know the Thunder Zords came from that show! That's pretty neat.

Suits with lips are always worse than suits without. I can't comprehend the love for the "original" suits (read: 15th or so Japanese sentai but first American so it gets all the credit), especially when I see people hold the Green Ranger on some pedestal over the White Ranger, when the Dairanger costumes shit all over Zyuranger/MMPR.

Favorite is probably Lightspeed, but SPD is awesome too. Titanium Ranger for life.

Super Sentai is definitely fair game. I just said Power Rangers because that's what I watched.

For me the best suits are

Mighty Morphin, Lost Galaxy, and Space.

Also bonus points to Operation Overdrive that managed to have good suits despite being one of the worst seasons
