For a quick overview, there's a wiki dedicated to both series.

All of Power Rangers is on Netflix, and Shout! is release Super Sentai seasons on DVD in the west every year (although unfortunately they are only sticking to the ones that got adapted to Power Rangers). Fansubs have translated pretty much all the seasons however, so there's no difficulty in finding the shows.

Modern Power Rangers shows (the ones since 2011) have become very childish and obnoxious, so I wouldn't recommend those; but Power Rangers RPM is a pretty cool season that shows how different the series can get from MMPR. If you want to watch Super Sentai, Gokaiger is a no brainer, as it's a season that works on it's own while also introducing you to stories from past seasons.

I don't know the PR equivalent but I became a huge fan of the Shinkenger ones after watching the series. They were simple, but still had some nice unique design elements like the Kanji on the helmets.

I personally love them the most because they get some really amazing henshin scenes, especially when the full back-drop from comes up carried by their servants. Heh

This one is a little... unfair in a way, it's a Gokai variant to a past ranger costume.

I always loved how Gokaiger added skirts to girls' costumes that were originally boys when required.

5) Power Rangers In Space. These are probably my favorite team uniforms outside of the MMPR era. I'm a fan of the costumes that are more "uniform" for all team members aside from a few minor things.

4) The Gold Zeo Ranger. Best look of the Zeo era. The gold vest thing basically made him look like a tank. Gold accents on a ranger costume always seem to make them look better

3) The "Mysterious Ranger" from the current comic run. It's a hybrid of the Green and White designs and it looks so good.

2) The White Ranger. Again, gold accents make everything better.

1) The Green Ranger. Classic look, really cool helmet, the vest was cool as well.

The updated version used in Super Power Beat Down was amazing too. I was hoping the new movie would use something like this

I grew up on MMPR, but even without the nostalgia, I think their costumes are the best combination of simplicity and design, with White Ranger somehow fitting in pretty well too.
