It won't get shut down instantly. If YouTube does decide to step in they would strike down a video that uses this kind of humor and give him a strike. Then, he'd course correct and obviously not use that type of humor in videos.

Pretty much. I love watching idubbbz because he's entertaining but the guy frequently says "what are you, a gay retard?" or "nigger faggot" which a huge following (see the comment section). H3H3 doesn't do the same but I think it's based on the audience. PDP has a much lower age audience despite being very adult humour. It's the same kind of adult humour I was watching at 10 like on shows such as South Park. But the difference being that it's clearly an animated show.

YouTubers have such a strong influence especially when it comes to pranks that people genuinely believe what they're seeing. It's Jackass on a much broader and easier-to-view-scale. A lot of these pranks have been debunked as fake yet so many believe they are real. At 10 I was copying Wrestling and Jackass so at 10 on YouTube, why wouldn't follow some who almost personally calls you his "bro" and does stunts like this?

The difference between this and an actual comedian making these types of jokes is two-fold.

One, there's usually a setup and then a punchline for a professional comedian making an off-color joke. The joke itself isn't "dead Jews! Ha!"

Two, most comedians rarely make jokes like this anyway because they understand they humor (mostly) only comes from punching up. Punching down at the helpless and disenfranchised just makes you look like a fucking dick. So making a Hitler joke is generally seen as less offensive than going after the people Hitler murdered.
