People didn't vote for Pence, his reelection is going to have some bitterness from one side of Republicans and distrust from the other

And if Pence is poisoned fruit, Ryan will have even less of a mandate.

Plus, Trump's doing much of what we feared Pence would do, so the only difference is that Pence (hopefully) is just regular evil and not Trump evil, who recognizes that a fascist state is dangerous for both parties.

Trump and his campaign have repeatedly said they had no contact with Russian officials during the campaign. This throws a huge wrench into those claims.

Yes. Trump impeachment would damage the republican party and Pence would put people in positions of authority that are more likely to know what they are doing. You also would not have issues like Trump sacking most of the head officials of the State Dept as well as targeting career (non partisan) staffers that have been doing this shit for multiple presidencies. It would make a Republican White House more competent but what we have right now is unstable and dangerous for everyone.
