Any politicians reacted to this news at all yet?

Jason Chaffets re confirmed thay he sheds his skin once a year and needs to stay in the sun to keep his body temperate up.

He also leaves a trail of slime like a fucking slug when he walks.

What government institute or agency do we need to rely on to legitimately charge them with treason, and carry it through?

Don't the republicans have too much power, and too much to lose, to let this get anywhere?

The Flynn event does not fill me with confidence, this is on a whole other level.

After Ryan it'd go to Hatch, then Tillerson, then Sec. of Treasury and down the line. If somehow the stars align and this sinks Trump, I can't possibly imagine it'll also sink Pence.

If Pence becomes our next President he'll have served for over half of the former President's term, so he'd be eligible to run for re-election one time before he'd be considered at the term limit. Pence doesn't have the personality to capture the Trump base so i can't see him winning, but who knows.

Pence wouldn't survive in 2020.

The Democratic voters will be galvanized and moderate conservatives will wash their hands of this class of GOP.

It's sooooo good that it's only Tuesday night. 3 more Spiceys left this week. Trump is totally going to do something hewwg feeling this cornered for the purpose of deflection. Let's hope he doesn't attack Iran or something.

Need congresspeiple to get the transcripts. Then we can tell from their reaction if this is going to be the dagger. Otherwise, it'll probably get dragged out.

The justice department, with newly confirmed AG Jeff Sessions one of Trumps earliest supporters. Good luck!

(He could be impeached without Sessions though)

We shouldn't be here right now, this is why you cannot trust the electorate. Trump should have been removed from the election as soon as this came out in the IC.

If the electoral college was worth a damn, we wouldn't have been. they were too afraid to go against to norm. Electors could have stopped this shit. which was they're one job.

Regardless of whether Trump is impeached or not, Putin has already shown the world that the US political system is a shambling mess, and that the supposed virtues of the greatest democracy on the planet are just as fallible as in every other country on Earth.

That said, what worries me not is not so much whether the Russians can pump their chests up at the end of the day, but rather how easily the intelligence community is throwing the administration into disarray. Trump is a dickwad and deserves scorn and worse, but it is clear to me now that the true power of the executive branch does not rest in the presidency, but rather in the agencies like the FBI, CIA, and NSA. That's scary whether you are pro-Trump or anti-Trump.

DUH

Those Manafort connections was the early smoke to the fire. We all knew this was going on, so why are we acting surprised now?
Of course they never publicized any of this and only things people cared about was Benghazi and HER EMAILS. Which was an actual effort by Russian Intelligence to fuck up the election that actually worked.

No words for this mess. Idiotic voters deserve this stupid administration.

I think to impeach Trump, it would have to have happened while he was President. You would also have to implicate him directly or have hard evidence of Trump specifically requesting an illegal act or obstruction of the law.

I hope I wake up in the morning for work and skip there the entire way.

He could have taken active steps to cover it up post presidency, no?

What will the republicans lose? They gain the presidency and not have to deal with cheeto

I showed these headlines to my mom and she just responded, completely seriously, "fake news." My jaw dropped. I know she's been brainwashed by this Trump rhetoric because English is her second language and I've never heard her know or use the word "fake" until now.

This election has ruined my family relationships.

You would have to catch him directly for it to effect him, but it doesn't have to be during his presidency. Him having contact with foreign intelligence as a candidate would be the biggest scandal in US political history if you can prove it. That is actually, legitimately, real treason.

If he and his team conspired with Russians to influence the election, its over.

He hasn't shown that yet. If we don't impeach his ass through our checks and balances, then yes I'll agree with your assessment.

The intelligence agencies then sought to learn whether the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russians on the hacking or other efforts to influence the election.

The officials interviewed in recent weeks said that, so far, they had seen no evidence of such cooperation.

So....not a smoking gun, but the smell of gunpowder or hearing the shot?

Also, this....

President-elect Trump and then-President Barack Obama were both briefed on details of the extensive communications between suspected Russian operatives and people associated with the Trump campaign and the Trump business, according to US officials familiar with the matter.

Feels like....defeating the purpose of the entire thing?

As in, it just lets the White House work on burying as much dirt as deep as possible, if anything were in fact to come of it?

The spin the administration and its lackeys are doing is amazing. Its gotten to the point they are not even denying the accusations against Flynn. Its instead changed to regardless of what Flynn did the real crime is the person who is leaking to the press

Legally, there are no real constraints on impeachment. All it takes is the will of the congress. There is no recourse for the President.

don't worry. when Trump falls, they won't have to believe it.
