Missed screencapping it, but this Great Fairy gave him the Hylian Tunic. Again, I only followed the game loosely, but it seems at least some Great Fairies give you new tunics. Don't know if that was known or not, though I'm guessing probably so.

Man Horses in this game practically refuse to glitch out, they may clip into things but they refuse to turn into glitchfests. It's actually amazing.
One of the Great Fairies Josh found would let him upgrade his armor for free it seemed.

I've been watching the streams and they act like horses should behave like a steering wheel. Not saying they shouldn't be responsive for the sake of gameplay, but they are walking them towards walls, rocks, and cliffs and wonder why the horses get clumsy.

The sound design and music is ace, they nailed the ambiance and new tunes in my opinion.
Voice acting leaves some things to be desired, though.

He didn't actually use the food given to him after finishing the trials. Wonder if that would have made a difference.
I don't think so. From the description, it just gives you extra hearts like the other truffles. When he pulls the sword, his health counter reverts to the red hearts (the ones you always have). I guess there is a certain amount you need before you pull the Master Sword. It really makes me want to upgrade my hearts over stamina.

I figured it was a waste of time. The Great Deku Tree said
"If you hope to pull the sword from its resting place, you must use your true strength."
Temp hearts wouldn't be your true strength.
I wonder how many hearts you need. In most Zelda games you get the master sword after 3 dungeons, which would also net you 3 hearts. So that's usually 6 hearts. In Zelda 1 the white sword requires 5 hearts to wield it and the magical sword requires 12.

I think it's a bit of both. The names that make reference to games in BOTW's timeline might have easter eggs, but the rest are just a cute way of fleshing out the location names without making them sound bland.
