I've read that 285 figure someplace else too, but my order still says 298. Was it actually on sale for that price at some point?
i ordered the nes mini with one week delivery time. after 8 days i called and they said that they cant deliver it and they dont know if they get any.
No idea, but my order was updated to that price. Interestingly enough I didn't receive the lowest Zelda price yet - so that one is still at 60 Euro with the Switch being at 285...
I still have the screenshot that shows Zelda at the lower price, so I should be fine and still get another 10 bucks off my order.
Still undecided if I should ring them up now or after they shipped

It is, but actually it isn't exactly what I was thinking, maybe nothing has changed at all.
In the mobile website, which I checked today, it has "expedition prévue à partir du 02/03/2017". That's what made me think there was an update, but in the full website it actually still says "Sortie prévue 03/03/2017".
Weird distinction but there you have it. I still trust it will get shipped the latest by Thursday.

Might be worth a try checking local retailers for a unit on Fri / Sat and then just sending Amazon's back unopened.

- If I pay for amazon prime (I do) I will get the system and Zelda on march 3rd.
- If I don't pay for prime I will get both on thursday?

My Amazon.fr order also says it will be sent on 4th from them and I pre-ordered it more than 1 month ago.
I wonder if the difference is due to bundle or not (with Zelda) - I have just the console or based on if it's delivered in France or not - mine is delivered to Austria. Although one might say that this should be the other way around (foreign deliveries to leave earlier to arrive the launch date like it happened with the Wii U that I bought also from amazon.fr)

yeah, had the same on Amazon.de up until yesterday
the game said:
"Zustellung Fr, 3.März"
"vorbestellt"
the console said
"Zustellung Freitag"
"noch nicht versandt"
("delivery Fr March 3rd, pre-ordered vs. "delivery Friday, not yet dispatched")
Now both say the latter (delivery Friday, not yet dispatched). I ordered the game way later (because i canceled my LE pre-order and ordered the regular edition)
I think the wording for when an item is still a pre-order as opposed to a yet-unshipped order is different. The fact that the game got "bumped" from one wording to the next seems like a good indication both of my items are properly "allocated". "pre-order" is most likely when they haven't received their stock yet or when none of that stock has been allocated to your order yet :/
I have this exact same dilemma and mine is getting shipped to Germany. Might have to ask my mother to phone their support about it :/

Mine will be dispatched on the first. I wonder if it's going to be like my PSVR, which came a day early or like my PS4 Pro which was shipped 2 days prior to release but at like 23:59 so it didn't matter.

It appears to be that amazon sometimes shipps standard-delivery-orders early.
Prime users will get their switch at launch date - no matter what.
I'm thinking it could be because I ordered the bundle. I ordered the carrying case much later than the console too.

You should click on Lieferung verfolgen. For me it says that it'll be dispatched tomorrow. So there's a chance that I'll get mine in two days if it leaves the warehouse soon enough.
