-=-=->S P O I L E R S<-=-=- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Spoiler Thread

Ninjatendos are fast.

Hmm. Surely there's just a way to point a camera at a TV and just stream whatever you're doing with multiple other platforms.

That quick speed and one hitter quitter attacks are putting me in shock. The level of challenge in this new Zelda is amazing.

He seems to dash a set amount of times before he attacks. It seems like you could time a perfect shield with a wooden shield and knock him out. I imagine you could also bounce his electric range attacks back at him with a wooden shield.

Questions for those playing this:

1. Is there a fishing pole in the game?
2. Musical instrument?
3. Any other kinds of boats besides the raft shown in the E3 videos?
4. Is there any graveyards in this game?

1. No, but you can arrow/harpoon/bomb etc the fish out of the water.
2. Nothing playable from what we've seen.
3. Also unsure from what we've seen.
4. Yes. Or at least they look like graveyards.

You can get Epona by scanning the Link Smash amiibo.

Unsure if there's an alternate way.

It can also give the Twilight Princess green tunic.

I'm glad to finally get a look at the dungeon -> boss -> post-dungeon loop.

The (fire) dungeon looked OK. Definitely puzzling and seeing the outside environment through holes in the dungeon walls helps maintain a theme.

The boss though... not too sold on what they're doing with that. Pre-release I assumed they'd all be _________ Ganon's, which is cool, but based on just seeing Windblight from GameInformer and Fireblight from the stream they seem like pallette swaps with a phase 2 variations. And I thought Windblight would fly because, well, it's an air-based boss, but now I'm assuming they all do?

The post-dungeon section seems to benefit from voice acting, at least with the Fire dungeon and Daruk. The personality of the actual areas seems to have been preserved despite the open world, so that's good.

It's looking to truly be a Zelda game.

Streamed on Twitch, Hitbox, and Beam today... all abandoned. Quote me if I'm wrong but I think I'm out of streaming sites.

Makes sense as a Zelda 1 reference. They went pretty all out with those.

Really hoping for DLC/postgame (realistically, DLC) to be second quest with Zelda because of that, it would make so much sense!
Maybe that's the surprise with the "hard mode DLC" - that it isn't just hard mode where enemies do more damage but it mixes up some things with different enemies etc.

I want that but also literally playing as the character Zelda as a play on being able to activate second quest by naming your file "Zelda," haha.

Looks like you can get the Master Swords either with x Hearts or 6stamina Upgrades. At least that's what tha Lenny guy said.
