OH TRUE

Yeah this I can buy. He's been there for so long whatever power he's had has basically made him into that mess.

I just found it funny after decades of Ganon designs the first image I see of him in BotW is that thing lol.

It's also probably why the people in Hyrule refers to Ganon now as an it, Ganon is no longer human, not even vaguely, it's nothing more then a manifestation of ancient evil and hate. A thoughtless being of destruction.

Are the dragons rideable?

Btw, 100% confirmed if you defeat the bosses in the main world they won't show up before the Ganon final boss fight. But if you don't defeat them you have to defeat them without dying before you face Ganon.

He has all the weapons of the regular four bosses attached to him and can use all of their attacks, as well as a few of his own in his spider Ganon form.

And for reinforcement, he does use all the different attacks the normal bosses use, from the cube attack to the whirlwinds and lasers and such. He also has some grabby hands and crawls along walls.

I really like the fact that Ganon is just this grotesque monster in this game. Sure, I would have liked to see human Ganondorf, or even regular pig form Ganon, and I hope he makes a return in a future game, but I think this version fits for the story and tone of this game. Considering it takes place very, very late in the timeline (whichever timeline branch that is), over 10,000 years since OoT, it makes sense that within such a long time period, Ganon has become so warped and deranged by that point that he's barely recognizable and more of just like a natural force of evil, completely devoid of whatever little humanity he may have once had. I dig it.

When on the last fourth of his health, he goes into "Uber" mode and glows, his defense and attack seem to go up, he gets faster, and gains some new attacks with his weapons, though uses more of his sci-fi weapons like lasers and such in this mode I notice. Attacking him directly also sets you on fire when he's in his uber mode. The strategy to defeat him rationally is by knocking him out of his uber mode with some of your special strikes that require charge up while avoiding his attacks.

I'm entering this thread blind to put a request out there...

Journalists/Press/Reviewers of GAF: I need some questions answered for the BotW OT - a few straight forward clarifications to make sure I don't misinform the forum!

Could anyone that's had extensive time with the game answer a few of these questions for me?

PM me if you can!

Fun "Not Blood" gory death for the first form of Ganon:

Ganon's "Not Blood" is actually what forms the final boss:

Also, there's totally multiple endings, for this player he beat the bosses but didn't get Link's memory back, and before fighting the final boss Zelda gives you the bow of light and says directly, "Link, you may not yet be at a point where you've recovered all of your memories... But courage need not be remembered."

Guessing there's also an ending if you don't defeat any of the bosses and go in there and beat Ganon like that, would be a guess.

And Ganon's final form looks cool, but yeah seems to be super easy and more of a 'flashy' final battle since the attack he does is kind of piss easy to dodge while on a horse.

So 3 endings-

1 - Do shrines to get some hearts and go directly to ganon with out the help of the beast.

2 - Kill ganon with the help of the beast, no need to get all your memories back.

3 - True ending, get all your memories back, get the master sword and get the help from the beast.

It seems like that at least. If marrying Zelda like has been implied is a thing maybe there's also a split from that, but those three definitely seem to be the split endings we know of right now, though not clear if defeating Ganon without defeating ANY of the regular bosses first or beating a few of the bosses or not effects the ending.

But it does seem the two factors we know effect the ending is if you restore the mecha beasts and if you get Link's memories back or not.

So now we have to add 3 MORE timelines?!?

Man this game is gonna keep me busy lol. Can't wait till Friday.

Wow, Zelda really did NOT like Link being the Hero chosen by the Master Sword, haha.

DLC with playable Zelda seems more and more likely.

Could be, in the latin american spanish dub Zelda says "All my preparations and all my training it was meaningless.

Interesting! Would love to have her playable as DLC

So Ganon came from below Hyrule Castle, and below Hyrule Castle is a red (evil) Sheikah LABORATORY, and Ganon is some kind of cyborg... http://i.imgur.com/FsrOnPn.jpg

Guess the Yiga clan built cyborg Ganon there...

I love the sci-fi elements they are adding.
