Just for the record in a couple of years - as of this afternoon - the majority of "moderate" Republicans are trying to pretend that the biggest administration scandal and chaos of all time, is normal and just a bit of misunderstanding.

Four of the president's inner circle have already been fired, resigned or perjured themselves hiding meetings with senior Russian spies and the "moderate" GOP is pretending this is just first day jitters.

Our president has been compromised by Russian spies and buoyed to election by their deliberate manipulation and the "moderate" GOP is trying to sweep it under the rug.

Oh and gafers in this very thread are claiming this is all normal because they were apparently born without the shame gene.

Drip? That's coming directly from the White House

Lol. You think the Whitehouse volunteered that?

Did you read the Article?

When first asked in January about Mr. Flynn’s contacts with Mr. Kislyak, the White House said that there had been only a text message and phone call between the men at the end of December, and that both came before the United States imposed sanctions. That was quickly contradicted by news reports.

The Whitehouse admitted the meeting took place after being pressed on it by a journalist.

This was not some sudden burst of jovial disclosure.

If I were you I'd just go bet on a new team. Defending this shitshow is even weirder than supporting them in the first place.

Check the post history before making baseless accusations, it's not hard to do

So is Nunes just completely full of it when he says shit like this?

Yes, he says shit like this because "they" have none of the intel...because the FBI ain't sharing it...probably because they think shitstains like Nunes will immediately run to daddy Trump to tell him everything they've got.

I'm sad that Henry Gibson is dead - would have been perfect casting as Sessions in the inevitable spy thriller based on this election.

The post history was my point of proving that I was not and nor am a "trump supporter" as I am routinely accused of being

Voted for Clinton, but that is always ignored

I think maybe you aren't entirely aware of how your post history presents you, in that case. I say this as someone who just read three or four pages of it. You might consider how so many people have drawn what you claim is the incorrect conclusion.

Regardless, it has nothing to do with this thread, so let's all move on.

If you do a news.google.com search from Sep 8th to 14th you can see a whole raft of kremlin media chat relating to Trump including Trump talking about how cool Putin is.

For example:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...uthpieces-speak-volumes-on-putin-s-u-s-choice

I've not done an analysis to tell whether the volume of articles is normal or higher but it seems like a hot news cycle that week.

(the last one is rt )

So it looks like Gowdy, let out a bit more information. Apparently there is a transcript?

"We cannot overlook the fact that the methodology of the collection and the content of that transcript never should have made into the public domain," Gowdy said in an appearance on MSNBC. "And people may like that it did today, because it hurts Republicans, but what it really does is it hurts our country because you are leaking classified information."

This example is so obviously complete BS, it's getting tiresome. A contextual smear campaign. Whether you support the govt. or not, you shouldn't support obvious hatchet jobs.

Can one brave soul tell us how Fox is covering this/if they're covering this?

Only checked in for a bit, but it looked like they had two representatives with one side thinking it wasn't perjury and other think it is (or at least that Sessions isn't fit for his position).
