So ive way past the platuea but one of the shrines that gives you the power to move metallic objects has a chest thats way high up on the wall, I kinda figured its something you'd have to come back and get but im thinking maybe there really was a way to get it, did anybody get it?
These mushrooms... that's it!

Just got to the first story villiage , Any way to up my item and weapon storage?
The rules of the game are kinda weird.
Weapons break very rapidly yet right near the beginning I get infinite bombs which I can throw a decent distance, explode them for large damage in a big radius...forever.
Its weird. I know later enemies probably defend against them but its so effective against early area enemies, I dont bother using weapons.
Also game doesnt tell me how to cook. I have hot peppers but dont know how to use them.
Its a strange game, which isnt necessarily a bad thing.

I know we wouldn't let it slide that's why I'm so shocked about it. The guide clearly states "unlocked by coresponding amiibo" under the availability tab.You might want to double check your source, I never heard of that and I don't think Gaf will have let it slide.

I freaking love everything about Hateno Village. The music, art direction of it, lay out, etc.

Can't get a better source than the official guide now can I?
Yes, a friend did it and yes of course you will take you lot of patience, sneaking and dodgingIs it possible to get all of the towers as soon as you get the glider? Some of the towers seem to have some strong enemies.
Quick question, I remember people taking about voice acting. Is it just me or is it strictly text like other Zelda games? I didn't download the day 1 update, so maybe it's included with that?
eh, a single bomb doesn't even kill a bokoblin, and theres also the cooldown timer, not really an effective weapon. Works great for initiating a fight against multiple enemies though.

Use your new toy.
Lol link is kind of a dick to the old man. Old man greets him nicely and gives tips and says serious things at times and link is just like what are you doing.
Yeah. I tried so many combos before realizing the solution is the most obvious one.
grab the chest with the magnet

Dont the infinite bombs you get right at the start of the game seem overpowered since they never run out and do large area of effect damage at range without wasting weapon durability? Are they weak at fighting enemies beyond the initial area?

I thought Kakariko was nice, then i saw Hateno.
So good.
The old man teaches you how to cook during your initial 4 shrine quest.
Just stand in front of a cooking pot, lighting the fire underneath if necessary, and enter the menu, selecting "hold" on whatever you want to cook. Works with up to 5 items.
Its funny cause right after I got the bombs, it was night time and i was getting ambushed by stal children and stationary guardians. The long cool down in bombs made it unreliable to defeat the aggressive stal children while the area of effect forced me to move into guardian sight.
So no bombs aren't OP and you learn this really quickly.
Ah I didnt speak to him, prior game I spoke to him and his annoying grunts pissed me off but he appears anyway when you get to the shrine. hopefully other NPC;s dont just grunt at you.
so you need a pot, I thought it was weird I couldnt cook at fires. so I can make food with the peppers to get tthose cold protecting foods then
The GAF discussion was about the weapon unlocks that can be earned in game at a later stage.
The guide mentions amiibo exclusive stuff that has nothing to do with the announced items and these don't appear to be unlockable by any other means. To me this is a huge turn off.
Three hours in and just chasing a horse has been the highlight of my playthrough so far
found a cool black horse that I wanted, so I chased it around for like 10 minutes until I found a blue one with white spots and a blond mane
I figured with that one I might try luring it over to me with a trail of apples that I set on the ground
it fucking worked
and then I tried standing there, ten feet away from the horse who now loves apples, holding five apples in my arms, for the horse, to see if it would trust me a bit, walk up to me, and eat them right out of my hands.
it fucking worked... and I didn't even need to tame the horse after that. I convinced the horse to my side with the power of friendship.

So my game froze when I tried registering a horse. It froze when it asked me to name it. The music kept going but I couldn't do anything. Holding home brought up the sleep and power options but couldn't do anything. I was playing docked mode.
