You can buy it in the second village you encounter.

I didn't need to!
Almost impulse bought a Switch today, just for this game lol
But I could eventually think straight and control myself.
Always, always, ALWAYS go with your first impulse/instinct. Now turn around and go back and fix your mistake.Almost impulse bought a Switch today, just for this game lol

Going by what people are saying about the dungeons proper in this game I'm afraid that it's going to alter my opinion of the game somewhat. If I end up feeling like the dungeons are few and lacking because they were too busy making the biggest open world they possibly could, that's not going to ring as a positive for me as I'm finding the world to be too big already.
That seems to have done it. Thanks. Was bumming me out.
Given the quality of the shrines, I could frankly not give a damn if there weren't even dungeons in the game in general. I much prefer the Portal style of puzzle play in the shrines.
I don't think so, but I haven't read the entire thing. People outside of GAF play this game, too lol. I was asking because several streamers have said it was easier than expected. I was looking for other opinions.Mmmh, it's not in this thread that we said that, did we ? *thinking*
It's much harder than I expected. Zelda games have never been much of a challenge, but I'm dying a ton. It depends on how ambitious you are (and how over your head you get).So I've heard a lot of people say the game is much easier than expected, is this true? Or are there difficulty settings and I'm just not aware? Just wondering. Game looks amaze-balls.
Ah man, did I miss the climbers bandana? I thought it was in a shrine.

It is.
It's in the tilting ball one I think below the twin mountains.
It is in a shrine.

Also, I realized that getting more stamina might be a bad thing in a way - if you exhaust your stamina pool completely, you have to wait until it all regenerates back - and with more stamina upgrades, that means the regen takes more time.
You have it already. You got it as soon as you made him the food. How did you reach the shrines in the snow without the warm clothes...?
I found it in one of the extra chests in a shrineAh man, did I miss the climbers bandana? I thought it was in a shrine.
I'm not sure what's going on but I'm curious to know how is something like that blowing you guys away? Unless you have never played a Bethesda game in like 15 years. There are a good few other games that do that as well i.e. change NPC habits during night and day.
I'm playing the game right now and liking it but I haven't seen anything in this game that I haven't seen and experienced before already...atleast as of yet.

Wait... uhhhh I never got the doublet in the plateau. I cooked up a bunch of peppers to make it through the snow. And a torch.

Game is hard in the beginning with the hobo clothes but gets much easier the moment you get a respectable defense stat.
It's easier if you focus on hit and run tactics and put effort into crafting. I managed to prepare a meal that gave me 17 temporary hearts. So I've heard a lot of people say the game is much easier than expected, is this true? Were you on the lookout for Korok seeds? I found a lot of them on the beaches starting south to east.
There are foods and elixirs that you can make that give you cold resistance for a period of time. You have it already. You got it as soon as you made him the food. How did you reach the shrines in the snow without the warm clothes...?
Enemy/creature spoilers
I was just mountain climbing and sawbut it ran away before I got close. Any idea what the hell that was?like a bull or bear with horns?
You can cook peppers and eat them to stay warm in the snow. That's what I did and I ended up findingthe old man up in the mountains kind of near the shrine.

A couple of questions:
1. I never found the blue tunic in the Great Plateau (the one you see Link wear in promotional material). Was it located there at all, or did I completely miss it?
2. I destroyed an old lady's plum tree garden in Kakariko Villagebecause I'm a sociopathbecause I thought it would do something.... Does it actually do anything?
